Okay, I love the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe, and I decided to write this from the point of view of his beloved Lenore.
Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December,
And each seperate dying ember wrought it's ghost upon the floor
Quothe the raven, "Nevermore", as he perched upon the door
Whilst Edgar sat and grieved, as so truely he believed
That he had forever lost his sweet beloved Lenore.
However, it would be, that I am that very she,
I loved him dearly and he loved me, some would say "adored"
Quothe that Raven "Nevermore" as though he hadn't already before
And my darling, perched upon the chair, so intently at said bird did stare
As did i as I was certain he would utter something more.
Not finished yet, but what do you think so far?
