(Girl's Best Friend)

Lily layed down on her bed, opening up her cell phone. She dialed the number quickly and waited. There was no answer. As soon as voicemail came up, she decided to leave a message.

"Hey Trinity, it's Lily. Just wondering where you are. I've been trying to call you. Please call me back, okay? Bye."

She was sure Trinity had her cell phone on her. Why wasn't she answering?

"Where'd Trinity go?" Tristan asked, running down the stair two at a time.

"Apparenty she desperately needed to go to your Father's grave," Mom replied, sounding very resentful. "Could you please go get her."

"You know she won't listen to me, but i'll try." Tristan answered, running out the door.

Tristan reached the grave yard, and saw Trinity's silouhette at their father's grave. It was getting dark, and he noticed another figure standing behind her. Slowly, and quietly, he made his way towards them.

Slade looked up, and saw the girl named Trinaty running out of the woods, so, naturally, he snuck up behind her. When she came to a stop, Trinaty nealt down at her fathers grave, and started to sob.

Slade stood right behind her, silent as the grave, and making no quick movements.

This could be the perfect moment! She is right in front of me with no one around.

But he couldn't bring himself to do it. From this, he fled into the woods, furious with himself for letting attraction getting in the way of what he was made to do. Which was to live and eat, and considering he was a vampire, that would have been this weeks meal

The shadowy figure disappeared, and Tristan ran foreward to his sister. "Trinity, are you alright?" he asked, sitting next to her in the cool grass.

"No, everyone's yelling today."

"Mom always yells."

"Yes, but...I don't know. I'm just really sick of it."

"I don't know what to tell you. THere's not much we can do ya know, except for stay out of her way."

"stay out of her way? Easier said then done, she thinks bits is an angel when she is really just the devil in disquise." Trinity said wiping the tears from her eyes.

"you still love the crap out of her just like veryone else." He laughed,

"How can i not, she's my little sister. Plus dad said to take care of her." Trinity looked down at the grave. "I wish he had never died."

"He was protecting us from that...that vampire."

"He killed it too, i hate listening to kids at school make fun of vampires like the arent' realy when it was one that killed my own father. I mean, it is still a mystery how he killed the vampire before dying." She looked around, "Sometimes i wanna find one just to say 'hey come bite me', but there is never one around."

"YOu don't want that," Tristan laughed, "you just want to see another one."

"Shut up, you may be right, just don't tell me that." SHe smiled at her brother and sighed.

Lily called again. She was starting to get concerned about her friend. She had been acting weird lately.

(OOC: Are we letting this story die?)

Trinity felt her pocket vibrate and she pulled her phone out of her pocket.

"Hello?" She answered as she followed Tristan back out of the grave yard.

"It's about time you answerd your phone!" It was Lily,

"Sorry, I was at the grave yard, i wasn't paying attention." She said,

"Oh," Came the reply,

"Well, you scared me! Ever since your dad-" Lily stopped, wondering if she should continue. She decided against it. Her friend was already feeling bad enough. "Anyway, I'm just glad you're okay."

It was obvious Trinity didn't really want to talk about her dad. She never mentioned him, excpet when she talked about going to his grave.

Lily was unsure of saying anything else to her friend. She didn't want to hurt her by pressuring her to talk. Maybe she would try something else.

"We're going to find out what happened, you know?"

She could hear Trinity's breath hitch, and then the soft voice came. "How so?"

"Because we're going to figure it out ourselves."

(OOC: What guy? The one that killed her dad is dead.)

(OOC: Darn! You're right. How could I have forgotten that? I edited. Is that better?)

(ooc:yup, do you mean what happened to her dad though?)

(OOC: yeah)

Trinity walked away from her brother's hearing.

"Lily, I don't know if we should mess with it." She sighed,

"And why not?" Lily demanded.

"I, we," Trinity sighed, "Do you remember how he was killed?"

(OOC: NO! It's dying again)

Tristan seemed to be out of ear shot, but could actually hear every word that Trinity was saying. He had no idea what her friend was saying, however.

(OOC: *tear* NOOO)

"Yea," Lilly replied,

"I don't think I want to mess with," She paused, "them,"

"Your scared?" Lilly asked surprised,

"No, just I don't want to... I don't want to have the chance of them taking someone else from me." She spit out.
