Corelle walked out of the bar holding his cheek. He looked at the shy and noticed a pillar of smoke rising in front of him.
"Wow. Didn't take them that long to burn a building down," Corelle smirked and walked towards the smoke. He walked past an alley and heard a hissing noise. He looked in to the alley. A pair of white eyes stared back at him. Corelle drew the sword he carried around with him. He called it the Wraith. It was a curved blade at the top with a spiked pommel and black leather wrappings around the hilt. The balde itself was black. Corelle heard a laughing voice from the alley.
"You got what was coming to you. You are infected. Heh, heh," the voice and the eyes disappered. Corelle sheathed his weapon and continued to walk towards the fire. When he arrived, he saw people crowding around it andhe saw a half-breed.
"So, I was thinking, I've always wanted to ride a TaunTaun."
"Ummmm....I asked you answer the math problem on the board."
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did."
"Yeah well, that's your opinion."...............A conversation between my teacher and I.

(Just to remind everyone, my character Vince, or Hunter as the media calls him, is also half vampire and half human.)

Vince had just carried the last man out of the bar. A crowd had begun to form as the flames grew higher on the building.

With their business done, the man with the claymore came up to him and asked, "Who are you?"

He replied in a deep tone that sounded centuries older than his body. "A protector of the innocent."

"Is that why you hunt vampires all the time?"

Vince heard sirens off in the distance. He had stayed long enough. He couldn't care less if the media got a picture of him, it was the authorities he was worried about. With one strong leap he jumped and landed on top of a nearby lamppost.

"Hey! I'm not done talking to you!"

"I am." Vince replied before jumping onto a roof. He disappeared just as the light from the morning sun climbed over the buildings.

Celeste

I wasted little time in watching the Hunter flee from the curious onlookers before moving to the final man. By this time I was tired and, being the last out, his body had taken in a lot of smoke and severe burns ran up his right leg. With a sigh I layed a trembling hand upon his chest. Dealving deep, I fixed the damaged lungs first, easing all the smoke out so that he could breathe more easily. The burns were much easier in comparrisson but took more of the strength that I didn't have. Suddenly, he sat up and began to cough violently but this soon subsided and he looked up at me with wide eyes, his sooty hands already running over new flesh.

"Some of it might be scarred," I murmured more to myself, "But that can't be helped. I'm just too tired. Who'd have known a pub could be so full at this time?" With that, I dragged myself to my feet and swayed slightly.
"Are you going to be okay?" A male voice asked. It took me a moment to focus my eyes but then I noted that the half-vampire was still there.
"I'll be just fine. You did a good job," I replied with a weak smile. Afterall, who says they're all bad? Well vampires are but half vampires? The Hunter is a half vampire isn't he? Perhaps the human half is stronger. All of this passed through my mind in the moment it took me to sit back on the ground. One woman, I think I healed her earlier, brought me a drink of water.

I stepped out of the bar when I heard the commotion. I took off my glasses and saw the burnt remains of a pub. "So, Eve, what do you think happened?"

"Well, ain't it obvious, he pub burnt down," she replied.

I put my glasses back on to see if I can find any Vampires that might caused that. "Here," I said handing the glasses to Eve, "that guy has a lower body temp, but it ain't low enough to be a Vampire."

"That's a half-breed," she removed the glasses. "That's The Hunter, a famous Vampire Slayer."

"Well let's go say hi."

By the time we got there The Hunter was gone, but I noticed another Vampire Slayer. "Why, hello, Ma'am, seems to me you be another Vampire Slayer."

***argh... I've forgotten my characters name... umm... I'll just change it to Ryc, shall I?***

Ryc glanced over his shoulder, wondering where everyone was going. "Well, where there's a crowd, there's a mark." He muttered to himself.
A rogue by nature, Ryc loved being short. So many people didn't see his as a threat until too late.
RUnning through the allyways, he came to a burnt out bar, with groups of people standing around, trying to decide what had happened.

Scanning his eyes over the crowd, he spied a mage tending the wounded. "Charity worker... no good."
Resuming his scanning form the shadows of a building, he saw a fat merchant, complaining of how the ruined building will drive away his buildings. "Jackpot."
Quietly but confidently, he walked up the the fat man, casually bumping into him while sliding his hand into the man's pocket. It was a old trick, causing the man to concentrate more in the 'accidental' shove, and not realizing he was being fleeced.
"Whatchit, boy!"
"Sorry sir, I didn't mean to, but I was too busy looking the other direction! It won't happen again!"
"See that it won't."
"Of course not!" Ryc hurriedly bowed, like an errant serving boy, and scurried away. "That was too easy."
Wandering through the crowd, Ryc heard the an intresting comment.
".... be another Vampire slayer."
Vampire slayer? Sounds interesting.
Standing nearby, pretentending to be watching the smoke rise, he listened intently.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Zora stood in the shadows, watching the people bustle around the burnt down pub. Vince had been there, but as soon as he had gotten everyone out, he had left. Another half vampire was there, and two other people were hurrying over. One was a girl, probably barley out of school. The other was a man, somewhere in his mid twenties. Zora watched them approach.

The man turned to look straight at her. She stared back, noticing his sunglasses. No one would wear sunglasses this time of night unless there was more to them. She moved back farther into the shadows. The man shrugged and turned back to the girl.

Zora looked up to see a black cape disappear over the rooftops. She got up and followed it on the ground. When she came to a dead end she too jumped onto the rooftop.

"Hello Vince." she said.

(I hope this is what you were expecting.)

Vince looked at her with cold gray eyes. "Hello Zorayda."

"It's Zora," she hissed.

"It is not a sin to address a person by their full name. If anything, it is a sign of respect."

She smiled. "You haven't changed a bit, Vince. I haven't seen you in three years. What have you been doing all this time?"

"I have done what I have always done, protect the innocent and bring justice to the wicked. And you?"

*Exactly what i was expecting! lol*

"Oh, the usual. Stole a few things here and there, broke into a couple of houses, killed a few vamps. Nothing interesting." Zora said, inspecting her fingernails.

Vince laughed. "Well, it's nice to see you again."

"Same here. By the way, what was that all about back there?" she asked, jerking her thumb behind her.

"What?" he asked, not getting what she was saying.

"Fleeing."

"I wasn't fleeing." he protested.

"Ok...running away." she rolled her eyes.

"Oh, i didn't want to get involved with the authorities, thats all." he said, shrugging nonchalantly.

"sure..."

Tuvil followed the hunter, listening in on the conversation. "Another half-vampire, good?"

His curiousity had been piqued. Maybe he could find some help in stopping the demons...

Vince's head jerked at the feint sound of footsteps on the soft gravel on the roof.

"What is it?" Zora asked.

"We are being watched." Without hesitation Vince ran and jumped to another roof. Zora followed him and together they fled.

They fled over the rooftops, faint footsteps following. Zora cast her hand behind her and an invisible barrier sprung up. When anything touched that barrier, the barrier would curl up around it and the person would be trapped. She pulled Vince behind a chimney and crouched down. They didn't wait long.

Corelle watched two people run along the rooftops. He thought he had enough for the night. He walked away from the flaming pub and walked home. He reached his apartment and opened the door. He walked in and threw his coat onto his couch. The apartments white walls seem to be endless as Corelle stared into them. He wanted to sleep but he knew he couldn't. He walked into the kitchen and opened the oven. He took the back panel off and put his blades into the holders. He sat back and looked at Wraith. He didn't want to have it but then again, it saved his life more than once.

"Yeah," the woman said, "what's it to you?"

"Why, ma'am, I'm a Vampire Slayer," I replied. "Names Serkas," I said taking my hat off and bowing.

"My names Celeste," the woman replied.

"Do you happen to know where The Hunter went to."

"Nope. He always arrives and dissappears like that."

I took off my glasses. "Well, it's bad I can't meet him."

Genieve stood idly around, looking for any vampires. They were in public and this would be the perfect place for them to try to feed.

When she spotted one she unsheathed her dagger and walked over. Intent on figuring out if he was friendly or hungry.

"Hello," she said calmly.

"Hello," he replied.

"Are you hungry?"

"Famished... why?"

"Because you're a vampire."
I just lost the game.

Celeste

"Perhaps you will one day. Would you mind helping me up?" I asked Serkas.

"Of course not ma'am," He replied. I took his hand gratefully and was glad to find that my feet were able to hold my weight.

"Are you alright ma'am?" He asked politely.

"Just fine considering the day I've had and feel free to call me Celeste."

"Miss Celeste it is then. You don't happen to know where the hunter spends his days?"

"No and you're not the only one following him. There was a woman and a half vampire not so long ago chasing him across the rooftops. Poor man. Fighting vampires by night and the media by day," I laughed lightly and peered up at my companion. He was tall with a heavy build and thick, black hair. "By the way," I added, "Wasn't she with you?" I waved a hand towards a young woman who had managed to find herself a vampire.
