I think I subconsciously wrote this chapter. Spooky. Well, the street part was me writing, then I just zoned out with the pen in my hand and when I came back to reality, Corrie was being kicked in the face. Aren't I subconsciously nice? I know there might be a few typing boo-boo's and inconsistencies cos I wrote the chapter without writing the chapter, and I'm not feeling all that well today, but bear with me here.

WARNING:: Frequent use of words meaning prostitute

CHAPTER 11 RICKS DREAM

He stood facing a flesh coloured brick wall that was branded in graffiti. Blue and purple spray paint had been used to label the wall "Hooker Avenue". A cracked gravel road and a stained, whore-bearing footpath stood between Rick and the wall. He remained in his position, however, because he did not dare cross and request the services of any of the scum in fish-nets that roamed "Hooker Avenue". No, he was waiting for one in particular, one who he had heard legendary stories about. He was waiting for one named Scarlet Lips.

A heavy black jeep roared down the road, passing Rick and stopping metres ahead of him. The passanger door swung open and out stumbled a giggling and tipsy woman. She had big red hair and wore a skimpy black dress with knee high gold boots.

"G'night, Mr Rosstern." she said to the driver before closing the door. The car drove off, leaving a stumbling Scarlet Lips alone and vulnerable to a sex-hungry client. Rick took that as his chance.
"Excuse me, Ms Lips." he called, raising one arm in the air. He ran across the road to "Hooker Avenue" trying to catch up to the prostitute. A stunned yet excited Scarlet turned around to see an attractive young man chasing after her. He was wearing baggy jeans and a white singlet with tattoos down his arms. She felt a rush of enthusiasm fill her veins as he approached.

"Well hello, honey." she greeted in a sultry tone.

"Hey." replied Rick. Rather unexpectedly, he began to feel nervous. His gaze fell to his sneakers as he tried to muster the confidence he needed to invite Scarlet to the back seat of his grey Holden commodore. Fortunately for him, Scarlet knew what he, and she, wanted. She reached for his belt, slid two fingers behind the buckle and pulled his hips to hers.

"Can I help you?" she asked, seductively. Her other hand began to slowly rustle Rick's messy blonde hair.

"Uh. . . um. . . " He stammered. He couldn't manage more words than that because his tongue lay motionless in a big fat knot. So he just nodded.

"Where's your car, hon?" Scarlet asked. She removed her hand from his hair and began stroking her chest with her finger. Rick tried not to look. A bulge was already starting to form and he tried to force it down with images of his dad in a g-string and slaughtered cattle carcasses with flies nipping at their rotting flesh. Rick wanted to be a perfect lover for Scarlet Lips; a wish that probably would never happen given that he was a virgin with as much chance of getting a girlfriend in the near future as a moose had of being fed milk and vomiting it up as strawberry ice cream. Desperate times called for desperate measures.

Suddenly, everything melted away into a pile of goo. Rick looked up and saw Scarlet Lips holding a crying baby. The infant had a tuft of red hair on her head and wore a cute pink flannel pajama one piece.

"I think it's yours." Scarlet sobbed. "But it might be Austin's."
Rick's voice exploded into a yell of words that not even he could understand. Scarlet's sobs turned to howls that replaced the baby's. In fact, Scarlet dropped the baby, which fell to the floor with a thump. She then proceeded to stomp on the baby's face with her gold boots. The baby begged her to stop, but Scarlet Lips was in such a rage that she continued, unscrupulously.

"Mummy stop! Please stop!" cried the baby in a voice that Rick recognised as Corrie's. Scarlet's eyes were red like Satan's and her teeth grew to be three times their normal size. Her hair turned to flames and her nails turned to daggers which she dug, ferociously, into the baby's face, while it cried for mercy. And all Rick could do was watch. None of his limbs would move, nor did he want them to. He was afraid that any slight movement would attract Scarlet to him. So he did nothing.

Hrmm I quite liked your descriptions in this chapter. I can see the characters quite clearly. Lacks some scenary descriptions though.

Nothing really much happened too. It seems a bit irrelevant to the topic.

The characters are quite believable, but they seem to lack some depth. They seem like any ordinary slut on the street.

Overall, it was ok. I wanna see what happens though. I think the dream does have a relevance, but what?

Hey Lucy.

This was good, I liked the description, it made me feel sick, which is the right affect I think.

a wish that probably would never happen given that he was a virgin with as much chance of getting a girlfriend in the near future [s]and[/s] a moose had of being fed milk and vomiting it up as strawberry ice cream.

as

I don't know what relevance this has to the rest of the story, but it gives a good insight into Corrie's background.

Good stuff, keep it up

Best one so far. THey can only get better from here of course. You portrayed ms. Stick as a perfect slut, and Rick as a great first timer. I liked the comparison of his love life to the moose vomiting.

The sudden transition Scarlti no having a baby to having it and then goign crazy screamed of dream. Very nicely done. Poor dream baby though.
