I can't tell what's going on in the one with the girl, but I like her face. She needs a chin too, though. Try drawing your head first, then adding the neck?

You've got a very unique style- you can keep going without chins or with, if you so choose. I mix a whole bunch of styles into my pictures, so I'm sure you can do whatever you want with 'em.
