He looks really young in that picture, though I think that was only this past fall. I need a picture of both of us, so you can see how much we look alike. The main difference (besides our heigth and the fact that he's male and I'm femal ) is that he's dark complected and I'm light complected. (I didn't spell that right did I?)

Well, Ari (hehe, in Hebrew, thats a BOYS name)
I was doing just some basic training stuff. Its called Gadna here, and all Israelis do it BEFORE you're actually inducted into the army...it makes the whole experience easier. I did that last summer for like, a week and a half. Anyway, I did some basic stuff. That, as you can tell, is just after we were on the rifle range (I found out Im a damn good shot). So, we did formations and marching and things like that, we cleaned a lot, we did physical fitness. That sucked, because we had to run, like, 5km in the desert in the middle of the day, and we had to leave our water behind, back at the base. We also did field manuevers, and training. It was really cool though. My commander really liked me and promoted me to "Minalot Alef" which is one of the inner-squad ranks that "cadets" can have. There is the commander (who is already in the army) and then the gadna cadets, there is the cadet squad commander (second in command, kinda) and then the Minalot alef, and then everyone else. It was pretty cool. What I plan to do with it is simple...when I get inducted into the IDF (Israel Defense Force) when I move back after college, I plan to become a paratrooper, and hopefully qualify for officer training. That would be cool. Or, as we say in Hebrew, zeh sababa (thats cool).

Wow and I thought running 25km while wearing 30kg of radio equipment on your back was though. Running in the middle of a desert? argh....I cant stand heat. It drives me frenzy.
