Molton watched with slight amusement as Caden hurrired up the stairs. Then he turned to Renso. "Would you like anything to drink?" he asked amiably.

I watched Caden leave and was tempted to follow but I'd never met a werewolf before and I was intrigued.
"A drink would be nice, thanks," The werewolf grinned, flashing sharp, pointed teeth.
"Hello there. It's nice to meet you," I smiled warmly as I dashed to his side.
"You are fast. An Elf yes?" I nodded my agreeance.
"Then we are united through the king's hatred of us," He decided.
"Naturally, but we outlaws are an untrusting group and a group we are. You'll have to earn Caden's trust but that is a discussion for later. If I may be so bold, I would like to know where you live and how you know Alex?"
"Just water if you got any, I need to stay alert." Resno replied smiling at the man. Molton smiled and walked to another room and came back with a water.
"This is a nice place." Alex commented.
"I aint' never seen a werewolf smile so much." Molton said
"it don't make sense to be like everyone else." Resno said.
Molton chuckled and put a cup of water in fron of him. "Sorry if it isn't so clean," he said apologetically. "We don't get that good of water here."

I'll be gone for two weeks starting monday, and by the rate of this story, it'll probably be done by then. My characters are now up for grabs. If no one claims them, then they'll be universal characters, to kill as you please.

Molton laughed. "Yes, Caden is a little disturbed by your appearence, but don't pay attention to him. Do you need a room to stay in?" He knew Caden wouldn't like that, but the boy might as well get used to it.

"Okay, I wont press you. It would go against the thieves code anyway," I smiled again and decided to leave it at that. Besides, I was tired. After three nights on the run from the king's men and then these last two with only half a night's sleep for each, I was certainly ready for a good rest. Yes, time to find a bed.
"Any chance I could spend the night here Molton?" I asked sweetly.
"You River?" Molton chuckled, "It's been a long time since you stayed at my inn but of course you're welcome."
"Thank you Molton. I'll visit more often if we get through this," I promised.
"Alright," Molton said cheerfully. BUt then he dropped his voice, and his voice grew grim. "watch your back, though. People here feel threatened by most newcomers, and they're accustomed to removing threats. So whenever you come here, don't let your guard down." He straightened and smiled at River. "If you come with me, I'll give you a room for the night."

"Thanks," Resno replied. he turned to Alex. "We need to get going, i wouldn't mind being able to talk to this Caden though."
"We can talk to him in the morning." Alex looked around, no one was in the room but them. She shape shifted into a hawk and landed on Resno's shoulder, he smiled and walked out towards the street.
Caden slipped out the window, landing silently on the street below. THis time he left his knife in the room, which he had never done before. He felt very vulnerable without his knife, but he was glad he didn't have it. If someone attacked him, he'd run Like a caught thief. He thought about stealing something, but he decided that he had nothing to pick locks with, so he walked down towads the city gates. He might just sit by the river for a while.

Liskano and Kasko sat in their room waiting, for something to happen, anything. Then something happened that they were expecting; a shadow moved acroos the ground.
Kasko nodded to Liskano and then he slipped out the window. Gaining his speed he walked up to the man.
Bringing things back to speed, Kasko held one of his knives to the person's throat. "You be from the Emperal Army, be you?"
"No," the man lied.
Kasko put a little more pressure on his throat. "You won't like lying to me. Are you from the Empereal Army?"
"Yes, but it would hardly matter to you."
"Oh yes it is." Dragging the man back to the inn and threw open the door loud enough for everyone in there to here.
"Looks like we got a spy!"

Caden heard the commotion, then quickly went to the door of the inn, where he saw Laskino holding a man. He slipped into the inn for a closer look, but he instantly wished he didn't. his eyes widened and he quickly turned away, but it was already too late.
The man gazed at him hard. "Caden?"
Caden scowled at him. "What are you doing here, Hake?"
The man smiled. "What do you think? You always were a little trouble, but I'd never guess that you'd stoop so low to steal."
"I sneak around other people's houses and find what I need," Caden snapped back at him. "you're a spy; istn' that what you do, too?"
The man shrugged. "They still have what I got. It's not the same."
