Something totally screwed up, without a title

"I'm Emily Ravenscoft, why?"

Alles reached his cave and turned around. They were still following him and had gained a....dragon.

"Everyone get in," he said revealing the hidden entrance. Who is she, He thought as Emily Passed him, Why do I feel like I know her

Emily sneaked a glance at Alles as she walked in. She felt totally safe around him, but had no clue who he was. She only knew magical creatures from town, and he defiently wasn't from town.

The cave sealed shut once they were all in. A fire burned smokelessly in a fire place. It was warm yet sad. A straw bed, dirt floor. Not much to it.

Books filled a majority of the space.

"Read much?" said Cheri. Alles simply glared at the little Gnome. She eyed him back just as stern.

Emily looked around the books, she had never read any of these but wanted to. The library didn't have them. They were amazing though, first editions. What else could an elf do with most of his time?

Yaola sat in her web in the darkest corner of the cave. She watched the dragon fly down from the girls shoulder to land near the fire. She watched the elf sigh and go to sit in a chair near a bookshelf. The girl and the gnome looked curiously at the dragon, which all of the sudden changed into a cat and curled up near the fire.

"So...another shapeshifter...except this one is a werecat. Interesting..." Yaola thought. She decided it was time to announce herself to these people. She crawled out of her web and took on her normal shape, a young human girl.

"Hello." Yaola said cheerfully.

Emily jumpped, she had been twenty one for an hour and had already been once again thrown into the magical realm. She had hoped to just wait out her birthday, but it looked like it wasn't going to happen.

"Hello," she responded, "who are you?"

"Yaola."

"How did you get in here?" the elf demanded glancing at the tightly shut stone door.

"Oh, that was easy. I figured someone must live here...what with all the books and all. So i waltzed in and hid in that corner over there," Yaola said, pointing at the corner.

"How did we not see you?" the girl asked.

"Psh. You guys ask too many easy questions. Thats an eezzy one." Yaola responded. She demonstrated her skill by first turning into the tiny black spider she had been moments before. Then she became the little blue dragon that had been perching on the girls shoulder. Finally, she turned into the werecat, mimicking every detail, before turning back into her normal form.

"Oh." the girl said.

Alles looked at all the freaking people in his cave and sighed. He'd been alone for so long....And now he was surrounded by people again.

"Is there a reason all of you followed me... and snuck into my home?" Alles added to the girl who had been a spider. "Shouldn't be in school or something?"

"You saved my life," Emily said, "I had to say thanks."

Everyone else told of their reasonings.

"I don't have to ask to go anywhere, Elf!" Cheri glared up at him. "Anyway, you're more interesting then the sheep."

Emily sat down cross legged on the floor next to the fire with a book. He had sealed them in apparently, she didn't expect to go anywhere soon.

Dw started to change into a differnt shape every minnute trying to think of one which the spider could not. her tries included a two headed, crab, a griffon, a elf, a dwarf , a human witch, a human adult. However when she turned into a human baby the spider could not folllow suit!


She turned back into a dreagon hatling and started to do summersults in the air at her sucedance(is that a word?).

Emily looked up from the book, the two shapeshifters were going against each other. She regretted it immeaditly and turned back to it. Alles came and sat next to her.

"Who are you?" he asked, finally frusturated with the whole concept.

"Emily Ravenscoft, why does everybody keep asking me stuff like that? My name is Emily Ravenscoft, I live on one two four Sulsbury street, I'm a witch who turned twenty one about two hours ago and at the same time I recieved a phone call that said I was going to die today." Finally her lack of sleep and hiking caught up with her and she became tired. She rose to her feet sloppily. "Well Alleas, thank you for saving my life, but I must go home now."

"Too late tonight. You'll have to stay here." Emily began to protest but stopped, he had a point she would like impale herself on a branch or something trying to walk.

"Sounds like an interesting birthday." Alles leaned back on his arms. He'd been out all night....searching.

"It's been a hoot," replied Emily. She rolled her eyes and laid down.

"You'll be fine here. I'm pretty sure if anyone tries to attack us the Gnome is more than a match for them." Emily chuckled as Cheri scowled at him.
