Priestess of the white

While boarding in school, I came across thsi book on the internet. Looked interesting and bought it. I think that it is a pretty good book overall but I haven't had a chance to re-read it for a proper reviw with exams coming up. However, i wouldn;t recommend it to younger readers.

Has anyone else read it? And what are your opiniosn on it?

To be honest, I only made it to the first chapter before I got distracted by other books, and I haven't made it back since. I find Canavan's style irritating to read in long stretches, unfortunately. Have you read the Black Magician books? If Priestess gets that good, I might force myself to carry on. :p
