I'm a loser who can't write. When I do write, it come out sucky. Even thought people are trying to help me, I'm never going to learn. I'm always make the same mistake again and again.

Maybe I should just give up writing.

I totally agree with Sieg, the more you write the better you become, some of my first stuff I thought was simply amazing, but I look back on it now and I can't believe I thought that!

everyone needs to improve, No one is a perfect writer, sure, some people may be able to just write good stuff, but even they can improve.

I would suggest read and read and read! I have been reading a lot more recently and I feel that my quality of writing has improved because of it, you learn more ways to write, what thing's work and what thing's dont.

Take what advice you are given and use it, and don't give up, you have talent, and just like everyone, you just have to work at it!

Salut!

I know what your saying, NM, but no writer writes the same way. I write one way, which you know, and then you write another. If Anne McCaffrey had written the same way as everyone else, she wouldn't have been who she is today. Same for Kenyon.

Writing takes a lot of work, I know I have a bunch of stuff that will NEVER see the light of day, EVER. The more the write, you more you lean about your own style. Just keep up with it, and in time, you won't come the writing, the writing will come to you...

Don't say that just look at half the writers on this forum, we all wrote rubbish stuff. If ya can't write right now take a break, don't force yourself to write. But trust us when we say practice makes perfect.

Aye practice does make perfect. And if you are unsure about a certain point dont hesitate to go into the chatroom and ask for help. I do that very often and everyone is o nice about helping.

Dont be scared. I used to think that but everyone is very helpful. and of course they wont laugh as every writer knows the horror of having your writing laughed it.

If you dont want alot of people to see it Pm it to a friend on teh site. And you see I am pretty bad at all this typign lark so it takes a lot of editing fro me to fix it all.

EDIT EDIT EDIT. when people crit your work Edit it like a monkey that hasnt eaten bananas in months and has finnaly gotten teh chance to do so.
