Aqua looked at Rae and followed her pointing finger. She angled Corrith and both girls raced after the other riders. It was strange how they were acting, close to zombies. Almost like their minds were gone.
They followed a child like a moth would follow a light.

"Yes sir" Rory advanced on Jacob who looked at her with pain stricken eyes.

"Do you doubt my loyalty?" rory watched the scene powerless, she tried going for her blade but only felt a hand twitch, that was something.

Rory broke free then, she ducked and grabbed her blade as the creature jumped at her. While she missed the creature was surprised.
"I'm not dead yet, Logos."
Far from my pet, what do you intend to do from here? Kill me and my next in command takes control, and so on and so forth.
"How about just killing you all? I have a lot of men to redeem." the wall crashed down and Rory's few remaining men came in. The creatures quickly vanished. Rory came up and embraced the front man, "perfect timing as usual Rich."
"Hey if I was late I would miss all the fun!"
"What about being early?"
"Things usally aren't fun when you're early."
"Of course. I expect they'll be back soon so we better get out of here." She walked over to Jake and untied him before turning to leave.
"Wait!" Jacob said, "what about us?"
"You can handle yourselves, I don't think they'll be back. They never really were here for the school, they were here because we were close by."
Not compleatly Logos said himself in the door way. We're here to kill the Griffins, you were mearly a temporary setback. Now Rory... Rory's men, would you please go out into the hall way for a moment for a more private conversation?
Rory shrugged her shoulders and went back out, Jacob went to follow. "You stay here!" she told him like he was three. She walked out ahead of her men and around a corner. When they reached their destination they were ambushed. Only a few moments later the rest of her men lay dead and Rory barely alive. Five creatures to one of them wasn't at all fair.[/i]

Jacob ran down the halls. He had to get out...get out before..."Hello." a voice echoed in his brain.
"Get out!" It felt as if his head would explode."STOP IT PLEASE!!"
"I will if you let me do what I want."
"NO! I won't let you do that to me! I'm a free man!"
"Just let me...please?" Jacob started to faint. The pain was too much.
"Yes..."Jacob croaked out of his bloody throught. Jacob suddenly went limp. His face controted in angony, his nose dissapearing and his mouth shrinking."I'm sorry Rory..." Jacob uttered out of his almost non-exsistant mouth. He fell to the floor, face down.
"Thanks a ton James. You're the new controller of the beasts. Go kill them all, beasts and griffins."
"Yes imperious leader."

(grrr...somebody should kidnap my character or kill her off in a really dramatic way. i can't keep up. can she like get dragged into the scary underground world or something? I'm leaving it up to you guys.)
