I hate waking up in the morning and realizing that all the things that I've been mad at people for doing over the past few months either I have been doing too, or they had every reason to because they thought I was doing something that I wasn't.

I can't stand it when people refer to the Battle of Hastings as a French/English war. It wasn't. The Normans were not French. They were Norse--pretty similar to Vikings. It drives me mad! Geez, learn your history!

I hate it when people act all snobby when you did something you couldn't help, or was completely normal. I hate it when holidays are boring. I hate hate it when people talk to you when you're trying to concentrate on something else and don't really want to get into a conversation. I hate it when people act all touchy and stop talking to you because you had a conversation with someone who was not tham that lasted more than a minute. I hate it when your mum polishes your school shoes when your not looking, and you have to walk around in shiny black lace-ups instead of scuffed-to-death lace-ups. I take great pride in my scuff. I hate it when people refuse to understand. I hate the overuse of exclamation marks. I hate hypocrites. I hate it when people get really obsessed over things like Star Wars and Harry Potter (not saying these are bad, just saying it's annoying when people start thinking they're more important than life itself). I hate it when the computer logs me off. I hate it when you wake up, and are all cosy and warm in bed, then realise you have to get up because it's school. I hate telling people what I got on my report card. I hate it when people do crappy, unplanned sequels to movies (books usually turn out OK). I hate morning people in the moring when they're being morning people and I'm trying very hard to NOT be a morning person. I hate people who look down on people who know nothing about computers, even the really, really obscure stuff that not many people know in the first place. i hate people who can lie through their teeth about really serious things without a hint of conscience. I hate people who call me "nice" like it's an insult. I hate it when people get on my nerves so much, and things keep going wrong so much that I just explode and start yelling at them, or in one case hitting them. I hate it when you get teachers who don't know anything and know they don't know anything but still think they know more than you so they can get away with not knowing anything. I hate it when people call me "Luce" as a shortening of "Lucy" (well, would you like it if someone called you "loose"?) and hate it even more when that person is a teacher so you can't tell them you don't like being called it. I hate it even more than that when you TELL people not to call you it, and they say they won't anymore, but then they do anyway because it slips their mind. I hate it when I'm slotted into a steryo-type. I hate it when people think you ought to like them. I hate it when people think you ought to do what they say. I hate it when people think you ought to think what they think. I hate it when people think they know you, and say something that demonstrates what they think you;re like, and it's not what you're like at all. I hate it when your friends talk like you're not there. I hate it when your friends try to get you to be like what you're like around them to all theur other friends to the point of exibiting you like a freak show. I hate it when people tell you how horrible life is for them on many occasions, and you do your best to help them out, but then they don't give a damn when your world starts falling apart around your ears. I hate it when people expect you to do things. I hate it when people act like I'm perfect and have never done anything wrong. I hate it when friends don't help when they should. I hate it when my hair goes all weird for some unknown reason and I can't get it to look mildly normal. I hate it wen people hate me for something they don't understand. I hate it when people kept telling me I'm wrong, and get annoyed when I disagree. I hate it when people tell you you're ugly, and then act like it's your fault. I hate it when you spend ages slaving away at something and then no one thinks it's any good. I hate it when you get so much homework from one subject, that you spend all your time from when you get home to midnight doing it and can't get any other subjects done, then have to sit through all the lessons you didn't finish homework for listening to the teacher call everyone who didn't do their homework "slack". I hate it when people act like wanting to be an author is not good enough, and stand there, mouth gaping in surprise for a minute when you tell them that's what you want to be. I hate it when the Simpsons are cancelled in favour of Big Brother and American or Australian Idol. I hate Australian Idol, stupid copy-cat show. I hate American Idol. I hate the X-Factor. I hate Big Brother. I hate Neighbours. I hate the Sadle Club. I hate Pokemon movies and cartoons. I hate it when people bully other people. I hate it when "innocent bystanders" think I'm stupid and don't understand why I step in and try to stop the bullying. I hate it when that bully then goes off to whine about how nobody likes them, and that they've never done anything to deserve it. I hate it when peoples mum's step in on their behalf with the non-wavering belief that their son/daughter is completely innocent of anything short of being perfect and anyone who says otherwise is clearly a bully and if they complain about being bullied by this person, the mother will claim that the person who is not their son/daughter obviously started it and nobody argues because they're an adult. I hate it when life goes on, leaving the 'good times' behind too quickly. I hate it when people misunderstand you. I hate it when people think your opinion counts for zilch because it's opposed to theirs, and has been for sometime. I hate it how Worms 2 won't work on our computer anymore. I hate it when people overlook you. I hate it when you don't get the opertunity to get annoyed and it builds up and up until you start doig this "I hate it when" stuff forever and ever. I hate it when the cat wakes me up in the night. I hate it when the dog stinks and needs a bath when you wanted to pat it, or were upset and needed it to cheer you up. I hate it when people are oblivious to the fact you need cheering up. I hate it when people know and just don't care that you need cheering up. I hate it when people think that carrying around a small ammount of papers inconvieniences them too much, no matter how much you want your English Journal back, that took AGES and your really proud of, so they continue to claim that it is too much trouble to take to a lesson even though everyone else got theirs back ages ago. I hate is when your so tired the top of your eyes feel like something heavy it sitting on them. I hate it when you've got heaps more to write, but are just ... so ... tired you have to go to sleep, so you have to finish it later, even though you knoe that you won't be in the right mood to list anouther hindred or so things you hate, and may possibly be in a good mood and be unable to think of anything ... on that note, I'm going to sleep.

I’m interested in politics and like some rap…but I agree with you on the bad singers and I hate all anime. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with swearing, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with disobeying if the order doesn’t make sense. Stealing is probably usually wrong, but if a homeless guy steals from a rich person I can understand that.

I agree with you, people who think they’re so different (and try to be just for the sake of it) are annoying. A lot of theater kids and punks are like that, not all, though. I also agree that abortion sucks. I don’t mind girls who wear a lot of make up, though, and I don’t quite agree with the “people who cuss all the time b/c they aren’t intelligent to express themselves in a better way.” A better way, such as what? Why is the better way better?

Definitely disagree about sports. Sure, it’s annoying when you want to watch a show and football’s playing instead, but I like most sports (not football). And they’ve gotta have them on TV, otherwise you couldn’t watch them unless you had the money to go there!

I totally agree about the people who don’t talk politics. They’re either indifferent or easily offended—either way they suck! Diet soda sucks too.

I agree, homophobia and racism suck. (I’m sort of homophobic, but I’m trying to get over it. I was starting to be less so, but then this gay person wanted to screw me, and that made me more homophobic…By this I mean I’m grossed out by gays, not that I have anything against them. I hope that at some point I will not be grossed out anymore.) I agree that it sucks when people discount younger opinions. I think we should be able to vote.

I'm hesitant to agree with you on the Fight Club / [/i]A Clockwork Orange[/i] influence thing. The guy I know who is most obsessed with Fight Club is extremely smart, and someone I respect more than most people. That being said, I didn't like the movie Fight Club.

What’s wrong with swearing? It doesn’t technically cause anyone any harm so I don’t see what the big deal is. Fake tans are so weird…I can’t believe anyone would pay money for that…must be rich. Baby talk annoys me too. Acne sucks, I’m fortunate I don’t really have a big problem with it. But what’s wrong with disrespecting adults? Why should we respect adults? I agree with that thing about having a perfectly good day and then suddenly someone messes it up. This one time I was having a good week and then this guy stopped my friends and me from stuffing this freshman in a trashcan. About store workers and cashiers, try to see it from there perspective a little bit. You’re living off seven fifty an hour and you’re working in a rich neighborhood where half the customers are people who have never had a service job. Sure it's not okay to be rude, but maybe they're having a long day. I’ve never actually met a cashier or store employee who’s rude, whereas I’ve met rude customers certainly. I agree with you, Pokemon and stuff sucks.

RPGs are lame…You say you hate people who judge other people because of what they wear—but then you say preps suck. Prep is a style—you’re judging people by what they wear. Nobody brags about getting bad grades. They might talk about it, but they’re not bragging. What’s wrong with loving your animals more than your family? I don’t have a pet, but if somebody does I don’t think it’s all that fucked up if they prefer the pet to their brother or something. If your dad beats you, should you love him more than your cool, nice dog? I agree it’s annoying when people try to write dark but can’t. Why do you hate jocks, though? That’s really fucking judgmental. What you really probably hate is the jock stereotype, but don’t you see that not all jocks follow the stereotype? This is similar to Emma’s hatred of popular kids…it’s just unfair and stupid.

I don’t like football, either. It’s boring. They spend more time planning than playing. I prefer ice hockey, baseball, basketball, and soccer.
