When it All Falls Down

I know I'm jumping from extremes with this, especially after Hiding in Neverland, but who cares?

When it All Falls Down
You always seemed to notice me
When I was at my worst
You never understood me, I guess.
But that's just the risk that you take
It looked real, don't lie, it looked fake
And now I'm under the stars, left with
no scars unmolested.

But when it all falls down, you'll be
just another hole in the ground.
When it all falls down, you'll be
just another hole in the ground.
Oh, take me down.

And everything's oblique and grey
Where everything is weak today
Give me something concrete to hold on to.
What is this that surrounds us?
the stars and firelight that crowned us
What is this that surrounds us?
Everything we've ever lost.

But when it all falls down, you'll be
just another hole in the ground.
When it all falls down, you'll be
just another hole in the ground.
Oh, take me down.

Nothing's the way it seems, when your dreams
come back to haunt you.
Nothing's the way it used to be.
And everything is different, like a blur
in the distance.
Nothing's the way it used to be.

CHORUS.
I have an idea about these voices I hear
They're audible to everyone
Everyone but me

Overall, I loved it. Just one place I didn't like...

It looked real, don't lie, it looked fake

There's some transition here that's missing? Did someone say it looked real when it looked fake, or vice versa? Was it real or fake? What is it anyway?

Now, if someone had been singing that, they would have lost me for about 30 seconds. But maybe that's just my short attention span.

Anyway, I liked it other than that. Great job!

OK, fair point. It makes sense when I'm singing it, but I'm not singing it now, so that's no excuse. Anyway, that line is meant to mean (does that make sense?) that somebody said their relationship looked real, while the other half is saying that it didn't. It's meant to show how different the two people have become in the wake of their break-up.
Happy now? Lol.
