The silence is a room you’ve moved into,
with jaundiced wallpaper and iron cast
windows that don’t quite keep the draft out
--or the light in.

Here the whispering is incessant and the
neighbours' voices linger in the grates.
Their conversations unfold like yellowed
newspapers whose expiry date you
can’t seem to disregard, but rather

rehash the past again and again until
it would seem that the walls of your one
bedroom apartment are the only thing
keeping the world out.

The future is beyond the capacity of men
[you know this], because living backwards
is like looking into a mirror and watching
as the tumour grows in place of the present

that is beyond your ability to accept.

The individual leads in actual fact a double life, one in which he is an end to himself and another in which he is a link in a chain which he serves against his will or at least independently of his will.

I found this very abstracted, which is exactly what I like. I've been able to think over this piece and found myself highly enjoyed. Now that I've found myself being very fond with the topic it's hard for me to point out the other part of poetry hehe.

Eventhough this sentence is well, very long. It is the one I enjoyed most

A minor change, and the "[you know this]" well I believe it is better left out

Well that's all I guess.

Once again, nice piece

Cheerios, Chandni
I should not keep on, I'll just creep on creepin'on.

Very abtract. I really don't know what to say? Sorry. :?
Ohhhhhhh YEAH!!!!!!

One of the things I love about YWS is the quote generator. For example, I'm reading a really serious work, and then I see "Moo. - cow" at the bottom of the page.
