I was born in a small town in the south of Louisiana, where the trees drip with Spanish moss and the weather’s enough to send you scurrying for Alaska. That’s part of the reason why these days I avoid hot weather like the plague, moving from air conditioning to air conditioning. Anywho, my birth. As Copperfield said, “I am born.” It’s exciting stuff, non?
After Louisiana, my family relocated to the N.Y.C., my home of choice. Of course, that was after spending a stint in South Africa as missionaries, but I don’t remember most of that. Probably because I was only four at the time. Also possibly because I was sent to live with my mom’s family in Ireland during that period. Something along those lines. Eventually we were reunited in Manhattan, though.
My hobbies? Tormenting Fand and Jilleh, primarily. Watching them squirm is fun. Yes, I’m unfortunate enough to go to school with those two miscreants. In fact, Fand is making me type this at her computer right now, in some bizarre attempt to make sure that I don’t abandon YWS. As if making me type this and post it were any guarantee! Honestly, that girl….
And she just smacked me upside the head. B*tch.
Sorry! Jeez. Just telling the truth.
I luuuurve you, Fandy. Stop hitting me.
No, not stop hitting on me, just stop hitting me. Though I doubt either of our boyfriends approves.
Yes, dear reader, you heard that right. I’m gay. Not as in happy, as in homosexual. Not an oddity at this school, admittedly… frankly, it’s easier for a guy to find a boyfriend than a girl here. But I’m rambling again. I do that too often. Gay, agnostic, sociology major, New Yawkah by heart, and a music addict.
Some call me a pathological liar. I prefer born storyteller. I can bullsh*t my way out of a paper bag, and then some.
Oh, and I have a pet mouse. His name is Tesla. You know, like the coil.
All right, class. Any questions?
EDIT: "You earned 50 Points for that post! Did you know that is how much a candy bar cost in 1902? I remember quite right; I would go to the candy store, which we used to call the big orange store back then because Teddy Roosevelt said all candy stores must..."
Whoever thought that up is officially my hero.
