Valkaries are nothing like angels in fact angels a the cristian deprival and twisted version of valkeries. valkeries are warrior godeeses, daughters of Odin, they are sent to help the humans in battle and are concidered to be similar in relation to the greek goddess Nike, in that they bring victory, talso in games if not in battle. the valkeries in myth were to be messengers to the humans at the apocolypse fighting alongside the mortals to their doom at the monsters destined to destroy Asgaerd, the realm of the gods and past warriors. they are one of the first immortals to be swallowed up by the apocolypse, according to ledgend, this is the word of Odin. *sigh* ok rants over bye and have fun!
