Everyone (16+)

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is an “inspirational poem” for teens who think they should be “getting laid” like everyone else appears to be. Teen media puts a lot of pressure on young people to do certain things that there really is no rush for. I tried to write this in a way that the "average" teen would appreciate...yeah, this is just me messing around, please don't take it too seriously, but comments are appreciated

Don’t fuss,
Boys cry too,
Just like you
And everyone gets laid someday.

Don’t worry,
Someone likes you,
They might not yet love you
But everyone gets laid someday.

Relax,
It’s not such a strain,
Your efforts aren’t in vain
Because everyone gets laid someday.

Chin up,
Start to look tough
And search for the buff
Everyone gets laid someday.

I thought this was a good idea, but I feel as if it's almost supposed to be funny. I think that you should try writing a more serious version of this topic, because you are totally right when saying that teens are pressured to have sex.

Well I'm younger than I should be to read it. But I am really to young for this. (I don't know )
I think it's good, funny and the most delighted part is that you rhymed with some words.

its good...i dont think you should have put (16+) in the title coz there is no actual descrptions of sex or anything. its a good poem, but seems a bit rushed.

I thought this was funny, and the sentiment behind it correct.

But...I feel as if it could have done more for me, it wasn't "inspirational" and it didn't stick with me. It was too light-hearted, so much it was just one good read and then nothing long-lasting afterwards to think about. A topci such as this needs to leave an impact on the reader so they can think about it more.

This brought a smile to my face because of the lighthearted words and style, and the truth behind it. A gem.

Why did you put a rating on it lol? Its not like 14 year olds still believe that a stork brought them to their frontstep I'd probally undersatnd this if i was 10. So ya i liked the poem, it kind of made me feel that the only thing a teenager wants is to get laid, its kind of like there's a hidden message saying " love is great, but nothing beats getting laid". I thought it was funny and creative. Keep up the good work!
