There are five books in this series all of which, in my opinion, are completely original, enrapturing and thought-provoking. The author, Isaac Asimov, has been described as the creator of science-fiction. His books are millienia ahead of their time. I would definitely recommend reading the books, however, they get quite heavy and mentally challenging in the last two. An awesome read.
