I love anime, but I only really watch a few, Naruto, Death Note, and Powerpuff Girls Z. The last one's pretty dorky, huh? Aw, whatever. The cuteness of that anime can make someone explode. Toyko Mew Mew isn't bad either, although a bit girly. Sometimes I watch Sugar Sugar Rune and Ouran High School Host Club. Mostly read the manga, though.
To the fellow Anime addicts, ARE THERE ANY GOOD ANIME'S OWT THR RYT NOW!!
I'm a DIE HARD NARUTO Fan!!

I agree with whoever says that Miyazaki's stuff is the only anime worth watching. LOVE IT ALL! Haven't seen his latest, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, and it might not even be in english yet, and I haven't seen Laputa, Porco Rosso, or Princess Mononoke. And, uh, here's what I think:
Howl's Moving Castle: Awesome awesome awesome! My fave!
Spirited Away: Great! The first anime I ever watched!
Kiki's Delivery Service: A-mazing!
My Neighbor Totoro: Haven't seen in FOREVER, but good!
Naussica of the Valley of the Wind: Good story, Nintendo sound affects ruin whole thing.
I don't watch the American remakes like Naruto and Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. The art isn't nearly as good.
Wanna write/draw/make Manga as soon as I learn to draw and write in Japanese.
LOVE ANIME!

First my sister got me hooked on this this one called Karin. (I think the book is called Chibi Vampire though.) But I liked that one it was funny. Then she made me read death note and I really really liked them. The movie was pretty bad but still a great anime. Then there was this one called Elfen Lied that she and I watched on YouTube. And I think that is probably my favorite. I don't know if I'm a fan though. I find a lot of them really stupid. But I do like a few.
"...I hope they understand
I'm not angry, I'm just saying...
Sometimes goodbye
Is a second chance..."
i'm a junior anime fan but completely addicted to Studio Ghibli, in the original Japanese of course (much to the despair of my family).
As far as manga goes, I'm not really into Fruits Basket any more. But has any one heard of a series called Immortal Rain (Kaori Ozaki)? Its pretty hard to get hold of but the storyline and the artwork are incredible!
There's a ton of anime I like, but really the only one I feel like mentioning now is Code Geass.
How can I describe this show in a way that will do it justice? I really can't, but as far as concept goes, imagine Death Note if it had giant robots, females characters who don't suck, and a protagonist that is like if Light Yagami was actually likable and heroic (well, depending on your interpretation, I guess). Fantastic music, surprisingly good character designs (they've been nicknamed "noodle people" because of their limbs, but it really grows on you), and a plot that, while really relying too much on cliffhangers and last second twists in the second season, makes you wish you were a part of that world.
I should probably elaborate on the plot. Without giving too much away: in an alternate history of Earth, England crushed the thirteen colonies in the American Revolution and became the Holy Empire of Brittania. Brittania has enslaved the nation of Japan and renamed it Area 11, and it's citizens as "elevens" who are treated as inferior to Britannians. One day, a Brittanian high school genius named Lelouch Lamperouge finds himself caught up in a terrorist attack led by Japanese revolutionaries, and in the process meets a mysterious girl (I know you want to groan, but trust me: she's WAAAAY different and better than any other mysterious girl you've ever seen) who grants him the power of Geass, essentially the power to force anyone to absolutely obey him just once. Using this power, Lelouch sets out to become the leader of the revolution and overthrow the Empire. His motivations for doing so? Well, I wouldn't want to spoil it.
Long story short, no other anime can make me gush like Code Geass can. Watch it, love it (or hate it, whatever).
