Convents, Lesbians and Electric Toothbrushes

I've been told my life is pretty different, so thought it'd be kinda interesting to see if any people can relate to any parts of it, or feel a strong urge to join in my rants! Any of you in the same boat, or have a comment? Could be a good convo starter anyhow...

To start off...
I'm British (though have lived in the US), and at nine years old was sent away to an all girls boarding school in the depths of Somerset. I don't think I have ever mentioned that to any specimen of the male race without being immediately asked 'Oh my effin god, does that mean you're a lesbian?' lol. I have nothing against lesbians. I really don't. But please boys, simply because I am constantly surrounded by other girls does not somehow make them sexually attractive to me! And I think its another male thing (I'm not usually this feminist, I do understand I'm being stereotypcial here) that leads boys to image that us girls are so helpless without them that we resort to, well, without much detail, using domestic utensils as a replacement for their various appendages lol. No our school does not ban hairbrushes, electric toothbrushes or doorknobs!

For the record, we do not all grow up to be nuns either. Just because it's an all girls school, we are not locked up in an ivory tower equipped with chastity belts. (Which im sure my boyfriend is grateful for :D ) Why do some girls from mixed schools try to mock us for being innocent naive convent sisters? I don't think it's something to be proud of, but we have our sluts that could pull for Britain too, tah :o

Any males out there...is it just me, or do boys from an all boys school have none of that same stigma attached to us? A couple of gay comments here and there, I guess. Though maybe it's because only boys get thoroughly excited by the idea of two girls together, ooh arr, whereas girls would rather not think of two guys hooking up and ruining their chance lol?!

Huh...too long. Next week, chav bashing lol! Au revoir mes cheries.

You make me laugh. Welcome. I'm not to excited about the whole girl on girl idea. I don't see the appeal. Sure she's hot but no guy has a chance which i just don't understand.

Anywho. You seem very interesting and sorry about the necounters with the opposite sex. Sometimes it's never pleasent especially for the ones who have to prove their a guy. In my opinion, you have the appendage, what is left to prove?

I lok forward to seeing some of your work on the site. Woot French words!

I've always wanted to see/hear a girl from an all girls school say that. I have nothing against gays/lesbiens (maybe this is me after reading SW novels).

What genre do you prefer to write for? Or are you ino poetry (I tend to avoid that area).

Yep, I go to an all girl's school and I feel the same way. Everyone thinks were lesbians, but I have a boyfriend!

I wish people wouldn't think that way.

Bonjour! (Im glad somebody appreciates my french btw, I can't help it popping out now and then. Though I try to contain myself as apparently its tres annoying!)

I try to write short stories on pretty much anything that catches my attention, I looked at a few on here though and they put mine to shame lol! I'm always drawn to writing romance-ish things though, usually set a few decades ago before mobile phones destroyed all traces of chivalry :D For some reason I've been accused of having a morbid fascination too, it's not my fault my characters just....die sometimes. Ok, a lot lol, but death is just interesting! Death and Faith are my two biggest themes je crois. And for some reason...pop tarts. What about you guys?

As for the girl school thing, I'm glad to hear that at least one guy doesn't think girl on girl is that hot! Roxanne, maybe we should start a worldwide campaign to annihilate every male who assumes we must be lesbians. I suggest neutering them with a pair of tweezers.

(Excluding Shane West imo. No matter what his views, his genetic perfection is vital to the future of human kind.)

I totally understand the killing the characters. Anything i write with a little love tends to have the lovers die before thay can fully express their loves. But love died for me a while ago so why shouldn't my characters that are in love. Teach me French...Polease *puppy dog eyes*

Wahey our first volunteer for castration with tweezers! Thanks Sureal ;)

As for chav-bashing, give me a real life chav and rather large bat and I'll get started :D I think Little Britain has luckily ripped Chavs apart for me, they have been well and truly abused, I heard the programme's even in the US maintenant? Not that I imagine that without seeing it they really understand the true horror of a walking, talking hippo wearing pink velour and slicking back their gloopy hair whilst gobbing something about a mint and a safe...innit!

Ok, seriously now. Underwear. Why do some guys seem to have a thing for Tighty Whiteys? For sport support, oui, mais they just look uncomfortable and unsexy lol...not that a man's underwear is there strictly for girls' viewing, obv! They do highlight certain areas I suppose...! And even as a girl, I do not understand The Thong. Especially when its poking from above a girls jeans. Is that sexy? Not to mention the wedgie factor. Why shove a thong or Gstring up there when u could just wear French Knickers?! <Apparently theyre more attractive to guys? And don't require unplugging.

Not to mention the mystery of why going commando is called commando. Did commandos never wear underwear? They ran unsupported through enemy terrain? Scotsmen are the real examples, going breezy beneath their kilts. Forget going Commando, its going Scottish :P

Bisses mes cheries, thank you for reading...I know, I really should have started on the meds by now!

Oooh, believe me, I think boys' schools are just as notorious, if not worse. (Boys may not joke about them as much as they joke about girls' schools, but lemme tell you, the girls I know can't resist cracking a BL joke as often as possible.)
The girls I know are generally all crazies (in a good way), but I can tell you most of my girl friends love the idea of two boys hooking up, even if it does ruin our chances! ♥

I'm actually attending a womens' college starting in the fall, and my hair is 1.5" long. You wouldn't believe the lesbian jokes I get. Thus, I sort-of know where you're coming from.

I don't think that ALL GIRLS SCHOOLS are ALL LESBIAN SCHOOLS. I don't have anything against lesbians but I do have stuff against gays. Sorry but I have. I have a secret and that's what makes me hate them.
Always happy to help!
