Journey Into the North Discussion Thread (Old 4T thread)

I typed up a long post, but this is the general gist of it.

I want Harris to work with Valin; not Seraph.

For that to happen; Valin needs to be a leader.

Valin isn't a leader; he's just a figurehead.

For him to be a leader, he needs to have the qualities of a leader, not the title of one.

I suggest searching for websites on how to be a leader. It took me a long time to figure it out on my own, so it might save you some time.

Meditate on this and let me know if this makes any sense. This is directed at Sab, but others can benefit from knowing what a leader is, if only to recognize a good one from a bad one.

Seraph is pissed. He's looking for a fight, and has found one in the form of the drunken Sirloaz, Cyrus, and Henry.

Is is still possible for me to join the storybook? (Sorry, I haven't read on what part exactly you guys are on, I'm currently on page... 3).

If not, I'll live with it, hehe. If yes, then I'll probably come in in like 4 pages from here. (So much to read, lol).

I built a Summary thread It's not updated past page 14, but it should give you an idea on what has happened.

I guess I should update it.

EDIT: I've updated it to page 19. Use it as a fast track to get in the story, you can do the slower reading later. Besides, your character wouldn't know that much about the characters. The only reason you'd need to read the old stuff is to figure out how the other characters relate to each other.

What did you have in mind for a character?

Ok--Me n' Fand's posts are made specifically so that you guys can post around them--meaning if you wanted to backtrack and write about something that happened before everyone went to bed, that would be cool--the last sentence of Fand's post is there to reflect Finn's surprise, not to advance the plot, so feel free to post about night time still.
