what the backwards text says:

Spoiler

i am.

she folds up my fresh laundry,
corner to corner,
until all of my clothes are
inside of the suitcase.
she stops, holding the sleeve
of my favourite jacket. then
the zip closes. a clean line: inside,
outside, nothing in between.

she drives me to the station,
and she hugs me tight. i promise
to call every night. i promise to
write brilliant things and bring them
to life.
i board the train and she
becomes a tiny woman in
the distance.

I in awe of trickortreat, rev! Lines like 'I wear myself' really shook me. The paranoia behind an exchanged identity is very well portayed.

The self deterioration in wastenotwantnot is chilling and the fact that the mother consumes the shedding pieces of the narrator to express her love, really got to me. You did amazing this napo week! <3

Patience is the strength of the weak, impatience is the weakness of the strong.
