I am approaching this story in a different way, establishing Caiti as a current college student in a normal world, but there will be a bit of magic that gets established early on.
Some characters will notice, some won't, some might not be telling the truth for reasons, but I'm hoping to come up with that as I go. I did have a previous draft from 2020, but I will be writing a completely new story with new characters too.
name: key/string/perks pronouns: she/her/hers and they/them/theirs
- Caiti Henn is attending college in her second semester, still her first year.
- She still sees her “imaginary friend” but since she grew up an only child and homeschooled until college, she figured that was a shared experience. (It wasn’t, but she doesn’t know that).
- to be added

Oh interesting! I like the idea that in a world with a *bit* of magic, an imaginary friend being visible might be easier to 'rationalise'. Good luck with your project, key!
