Reviews: Not Enough or Too Many?

Not enough, for one can never have too many opinions about one's work.

I get a good amount but I would rather have more indepth so I can get better.

I don't get enough!

I haven't posted alot of my work here, but I feel like I've gotten the right amount of reviews for what I have. They have all been very nice and constructive as well; I really appreciate them. I don't review as much as I should, I suppose, but I really suck at giving constructive critiques...

I get about the right amount. Everyone is so friendly on here, and they really delve into the right stuff. Of course, I do get a lot of grammar mistakes, etc., but I also get plot and character stuff. I love it!

I don't get as much reviews as i would like, but then, i only review the bare minimum i have to in order to post my work up, so i suppose i deserve it!! The reviews i do get are good, though, and i think im just a bit greedy sometimes

I don't get enough. At least not very constructive ones. I suppose I shouldn't even be talking since I barely every critique anything. I'm very bad at critiquing. Either I like it, or I don't. I can never explain why, or what to fix. It's frustrating. *shrug*

Whats a critique? Oh, Those people huh.. heh, I've been slow to come back to here. Hi everyone, yes I've almost returned, school has been utter chaos... Eh, reviews are ish. Very few, but even fewer are thorough. Alot of work has been critiqued harshly, and few have been thoroughly. So.. who knows, not too bad but could be better.

I think there is always room for more. But what makes them valuable reviews is the detail of the review. and then with each review have a poll that allows others to simply give it a star rating.

Yes, i know there are many other sites out there that do this, but many of those are inflated due to the number of fake reviews etc. atleast with this site, we have true genuine writers actually reviewing the books.

I do not think I get enough reviews, some of my story's get none at all. However since I simplified my writing I have received an increase in reviews.

I feel like I get good responses the first two days after a poem is posted, and then it just kind of dies out. I do like having a quantity of reviews, because then you get a lot of opinions, but critiques also need quality. It would be nice to have a dozen reviews saying "I love this piece" or whatever, but they won't help, they're just raise one's self-esteem. I get about four replies, and then no one comments after that, and it's not fulfilling at all.
As others said, I can't really complain, because I don't do enough critiques myself. I try to make them helpful, but I don't always have time to make them detailed.

Odd...For my first story, I seemed to get a bunch of nice-helpful reviews. But, for my more recent one, I pretty much only got "double-space it" which really isn't helpful at all, no offense.

I usually get a decent bunch of replies for things I write... but recently, I dont know, has there been a general lessening in posting? Haha, well I shall wait patiently afore pronouncing judgement,

And as soon as I get my break from uni I will comment/critique more.
