Well, first off, I suppose I should say something about myself, right?
Okay. I'm Gewei (now Darlet). If you've read one of my works, you may have seen that I like to post drawings along with them. However, I don't just draw: I also needle felt!
(Needle felting, in case you've never heard of it, is basically sculpting with wool: you have wool and a special, barbed needle that you use to stab said wool into the shape you want.)
I'll be posting things I drew and stuff I needle felted here. (Oh! Almost forgot to say that I also plan on learning how to sew dolls and stuffed animals!)
I don't take requests, in case anyone's gonna ask, not because I don't want to, but because I know I'm still too lacking to do that: my art may look pretty, but a lot of things are off, I suck at drawing any view other than front, my hands and feet and stuff look bad and well, you get it.
This thread is here, however, for me to practice drawing until the day I finally feel ready to take requests (drawing stuff for other yewisers is one of my dreams).
I draw lots of things, often skull-people (people with animal skulls as heads), anthropomophic animals (cats, dragons and goats mostly) and humans. I draw pretty mangalike (I draw chibis too!). With needle felting, I mostly make chickens (ask me and I'll give you my tips on needle felting a chicken), but also cats. I recently made a pirate demon lamb too. (I needle felt in manga style, by the way.)
Well, thank you for making it this far! Now, let's see what you think of my thread debut piece and if I manage to post it at all! (And feel free to comment on this thread or give criticism on my art!)
