In an effort to spread the holiday joy all around YWS, your faithful moldy elves Wolfi and Toast are here to help you spruce up your avatars! A sprig of holly here, a snowflake there, and soon this place'll be looking a little more merry!

Requesting an Avatar
Are you ready to get that avatar holidified? Drop a request in this thread! Requesting an avatar is completely free.

A couple questions you should answer when requesting an avatar:

1. Shall we holidify your current avatar, or a new image of your choosing? If the latter, please upload the image or provide a link to it.

2. Do you have any special requests for the avatar (like a Santa hat, Rudolph nose, snow, etc.) or would you prefer an artist's choice surprise?

We'll try our best to get your new avatar to you within a couple days.

If you're interested in receiving a fully-drawn custom avatar (rather than an edited image), Toast has a few slots open! Learn more below.

No-Can-Dos
For our own sanity, we will not holidify GIF avatars. Static images only, please!

If we feel like a requested edit is too difficult or time-consuming, we may provide a simpler version.

If you're not happy with the avatar, we may be able to make a second pass of edits to it, within reason.

A Toasty Surprise
In spirit of the holidays, the elves in Santa's facto- *cough* I mean, magical workshop have been extra busy in preparing the best gifts for you!
You will be able to submit a request with whatever you want that's Christmas themed and the elves (totally not me) will be drawing them for you!

As the elves are very busy during this time of year, the will only be accepting 3 requests on a first come first serve basis.

General Guidelines:
-Follow general YWS rules when asking
-While you can ask for anything in general, drawings of human beings are slightly preferred (only very slightly though!)
-There will be a draft sent to you before the complete drawing. Please respond ASAP and confirm or ask for alterations during then. Once done, the drawings will be final with seldom exceptions
-Drawings will take longer than holidifying your avatar, so please be patient with the elves :)

Hello Hello I would love to request A Toasty surprise if that's okay.

Now, I won't to be too picky, but I do have a few genral ideas that the elves can take their pick of. One being the totally not formerly dead robin Jason Todd Ehiter in the legally different Christmasfied " Robin" costume or if legally distinct comic characters are not up the elves alley, I would be over the moon for one of Everbound's leads drawn in some cute Christmas/ winter attire. ( i.e. things like coats or earmuffs and the like.)

For quick reference, I have some screenshots of The Sims 4 that can give you a general idea of the features and such to go off of. ( Although it's not one to one of course)

The elves (once again totally not me) are totally fine with legally distinct comic characters, but I think your OCs will be much more fun to try and draw up (and more personal of course!)

I would also like to request A Toasty surprise! If its okay, i don't wanna overwork the elves!

I would love to see my little sonic oc in some festive gear!! He would just be so cute as a tree!!! (you could find drawings on my wall page!) But i would also love to just be surprised by what the elves make!! >< I'll let the elves pick what they want to do!

I am not sure when, but the one CONCRETE promise I can make is these will be delivered before at least a week before christmas. Hopefully much earlier if possible.
