Six Corrupted Crowns [OOC]

I just peeked in the pad and since we already have two characters with the mind path (my charrie + arts) let’s stray from that for the rest of the characters! So no more mind path, please :D

Also please make sure you’re reading through the worldbuilding notes while you make your characters so that all of it makes sense!

It would also be helpful if ya’ll could look through the already submitted characters to make sure there’s some differences. For example, try to not pick the same path + profession as another character (@IntrovertedArtist, you may want to change your charries profession or their path since we already have a representative with the mind path + is a royal advisor! :P)

Each territory/kingdom specializes in a certain path besides Osrrya (they’re a melting pot). So for Ashkarish it’s Touch, Phyrr is Blood, Athrynne is sight, Solm is breath, Verdalune is mind. This doesn’t mean you can’t pick another path that doesn’t correlate to their kingdom, but it’s just something to keep in mind! Let’s try to diversify these charries!

heya, Ley!! I have a quick question that I think it'd be nice for other roleplayers to know the answer to...
so, magic (specifilly dark magic and curses) can leave remnants, right? and maybe it's in a mark or a tattoo or a scar. and maybe those tattoos can move? idk, it seems like a scary but also cool and totally fitting concept for this world. I could be wrong though. I just want to see if it would be allowed or not because I'm wondering if my charrie could have that lol

Maybe if you’ve ever been cursed you have a lil mark from it that moves depending on whos territory youre on? Could also move depending on the curse. It could be fun for King Maerin Calder to have a mark as well being as he was cursed/poisoned with dark magic.

Also, I wanted to ask ya’ll how you would like me to decide whos kingdom is responsible for the poison on King Calder? Possibly a randomization? Would ya’ll be down for that? I can post the results here:3 I can have two kingdoms work together possibly, or maybe one that KNOWS who did it but for some reason won’t say. So there’d be one kingdom that is the evil/culprit, and then one that isn’t totally innocent because they’re aware and aren’t saying anything. Once we get those results, we could pinpoint /who/ in the kingdom is personally responsible— whether it’s one of our charries directly, or the ruler of a kingdom, etc.

Maybe a mix of it all, two working together or was going to help but did not, so they know ( could be a good chance for drama). Random is fine, but a poll might be fun

I think randomizing it might be better so it’s a shock to everyone and it’ll promote more brainstorming ^^ a poll will definitely be used multiple times in this SB though to decide how we want some plot twists to go *evil laugh*

I love your idea that one kingdom was going to help, but decided against it! We can definitely go that route! I really think we can spin it any way we want :3 we love drama over here

Awesome!! I think that would be rlly cool. Also if Sorscha just met Maerin and was like "hey, do you have a magic tattoo, too?" in her naive way and accidently leads her other reps into exposing whatever country did it
Also i rlly don't think solm or osrrya would be apart of the dark magic scandal since they're so nonconfrontational and relatively avoidant of bad energy. I dunno, I'm probably just grasping at strings here lol

I don’t think Maerin Calder would be in the council meeting as he’d probably be recovering and hiding because he basically was just assassinated and then revived. It’d make the most sense that he wouldn’t want to be around a group of people who’s leader possibly wanted to kill him :P

Solm is actually more confrontational than Osrrya and is more fond of military tactics! Even though King Nikolai acts as a negotiator through trade, he’s not totally against war like Osrrya would be! He was a general before, and I can only imagine how many people he unalived in his days lol

Also, I will post the randomization results today! I’m excited to see who the culprit is hehe

I basically did it so that whoever got number 1 was the culprit (the kingdom that is responsible for the assassination attempt / the kingdom using dark magic.) Number 2 will be the kingdom that knew about it, was going to help, and didn't!
