Forgive me if this is in the wrong subforum, I'm new here!
NOT AN AD but wanted to share this tool I'm finding very helpful recently. No BS, no ads/subscription, free and simple word processor with settable timers, daily goals/streaks, and really pretty custom backgrounds to help you get immersed. All the tools and menus at the top of most word processors are still there but they're hidden until you scroll your mouse over them. I've had mine set to an Ancient Roman backdrop and it's really helped me get in the zone with writing.

It got me to thinking - what other tools do you all use for your writing, if any? Got any favorites or any tools you would stay away from?
