"Zoey...?" My voice was barely a painful whisper. "No...Zoey...don't leave me behind," I whimpered, tears falling from my eyes uncontrollably. Every sob that left my mouth left me more helpless. "You were the only one that understood..." I couldn't help crying out loud. My cracking voice echoed in the silence. Alongside her, other bodies lay lifeless, unmoving.
