Genre: Historical Mystery/Supernatural
Setting: 16th-century Venice: opulent, decadent, decaying beneath its beauty.

A mute apprentice discovers that his master’s paintings shift at night, revealing glimpses of Venice’s future. Every night, when the moonlight hits his works, the paintings subtly change. At first, it's small: a boat vanishes, a building shows cracks. But over time, they evolve, revealing fires, floods, deaths... and Giovanni’s own body floating in a canal. He must uncover the truth behind the visions before the painting becomes reality. The paintings are prophetic, or are they causal?
"How many faces, how many bodies can you recognize, with your eyes closed, only by touching them? Have you ever closed your eyes and acted unconsciously?"

This sounds so epic and amazing--- I love a good historical mystery, and it sounds like this one is full of macabre thrills! Best of luck!

The shutters were drawn against the bustle of Venice’s Grand Canal, and the scent of linseed oil and damp plaster filled the air like incense in a chapel; tonight, the moon was full.

The deeper he stared into the changing oils, the more he felt the city pressing in around him: a living, drowning thing, gasping through gilded palazzos and damp stone, feeding its future to the canvas drop by drop.
