My first name is Maya lol, but honestly I've gone by a ton of online nicknames. Meep/Meepster or papaya is also fine. I'm... let's just say I'm old enough to be seriously looking at college so while I won't say my age, let's just say the age range is pretty obvious haha. I live in the US, on the East Coast.
I have an idea for a novel I'm starting to flesh out, which is the main reason why I'm on here. It's a sapphic adaptation of the original Beauty and the Beast fairy tale called Beauty and the B*tch, where the former comes from a family of convicts lol. Maybe it's period (60s-80s)??? Co-writer anyone, haha? Fully looking at writing it and getting it queried, not my first one I've done haha.
Uh... my fav genres are fantasy (dark and/or urban), some sci-fi (soft), and humor/satire. While I don't want to dox myself and say what, I have been published professionally in some prominent-ish literary journals. So that's fun.
