WOW, your NaPo is so beautiful! I love the theme, from the index to black-and-white photographies with poems written in them, the vibe is so strong and it looks awesome!
I really liked all the poems you have here so far, but I feel like The Golden West and The Lady - The Joshua - The Man looks really cool with its verses fitting into photo! Just...wow! I'm so glad I've found your thread!

Observers
Our planet’s orbit ’round its star waxed and waned some ninety times between his death and now, and yet—this cosmic dust he scattered (lest we forgot) dwelled with patience under attic beams: charted missions, captured cosmos . . . Pedagogy entombed in a shoebox.

A Copernicus of nostalgia, he claimed Memory was the core of humanity, around which all bodies orbit. “Who are we without it?” he asked, gripping the professor’s pulpit.

On a moonless field trip we ascend to Sierra Madre’s summit; below, Los Angeles glitters in the gale.

Here looms a white shell, a cathedral dome of science. It guards the hundred-inch telescope: first observer of the expansion of space.

All climb its ladder rungs and sigh in wonder.
All come to the same conclusion: we are small.

But then he takes the telescope and spins it the other way so I peer into the vastness of his soul.

A hundred, a thousand, a million photographs whir by.

We are infinite.

So proud of you thins month wolfi! I loved your thread and your creativity with the photographs and everything! You were a really great napo buddy and kept me going and encouraged throught napo! Thanks for that. Even though napo is nearly over I can't wait to see more wolfi poetry as we go forward! I think you have a really amazing and unique poetic voice.
