February 12th: Gift Giving Day!
On February 12th, we will be having Gift Giving Day on YWS! To celebrate Social Week, this day will be dedicated to... giving as many gifts as you can to as many different users as possible!
If you comment below, stating that you will be participating, 600 points will be added to your YWS account at the start of Gift Giving Day! These points must be used to send gifts and not for other purposes, like publishing literary works. If you do not use all of the 600 points that you receive, please transfer them back to Big Brother after the event is over. Gifts cost 50 points on YWS! 600 points will enable you to send 12 'free' gifts, but feel free to send more after that!
At the end of Gift Giving Day, whoever sends the most gifts will receive a special badge
Remember to send kind messages with your gifts too! The purpose of this event is to tell our friends how much they mean to us and how we appreciate the things they do to make YWS a better place.Not sure how to send gifts? Take a look at this tutorial in the spoiler below for two easy ways to do so:

1. First, you will need to go to the profile of the person who you wish to give the gift to.
2. On the right side, you will see their profile picture, post, review, and point information. You will see the green box that says 'Give gift'. Click on that.
3. Once you are here, you can select the gift that you want to give, type a message and submit it! You can also type in a different username if you wish to give a gift to someone else. This page can also be accessed by going into your settings dashboard and going to 'gifts'. Once you click submit, the gift will appear on their profile and they will receive your message by PM.
