Reverse didn't like the fact they were leaving the two, but knew the odds of getting to them with all the insecticons were against them. He remained quiet in Blueshade's compartment as they sped away. That's how he would be until they got back to base unless asked a question.

He knew the two could fend for themselves. But this was the first time anyone's been captured since his arrival. Seeing their signals were encouraging. They were still alive at the moment, but it would have had to take a lot to take them down. Being overwhelmed would definitely do it.

Down in the depths of the insecticon catacombs, Sharpshell led a small troop of insecticons who carried with them two autobot prisoners.

Won't Megatron be pleased with me? He hissed to himself gleefully, rubbing his claws together. They had not intended to cross the autobots today, but one of them had decided to use an explosive above the catacombs and cause a massive sinkhole.

He would pay for that in the caves.

Sharpshell knew the moment he contacted the leader of the Decepticons, he would be ordered to hand over his prisoners and receive no reward for his actions. He instead planned to question them himself and pry any useful information from their cold, lifeless husks if necessary.

"Throw them in that cell, and bind them! They're slippery ones, these two." He prowled over, his long arms almost dragging the ground as he crept up to the unconscious bots. "And tell me when they awaken..."

Altrock came online feeling as if he tried to fight an entire hive of insecticons. Well, that is actually exactly what happened. As for Helixon...

He opened his optics and took in the amazing view of a cell. Helixon was on the other side, not awake yet, and not in the best condition, but alive. That was relieving, as when he couldn't see Helixon near the end of the fight he thought Helixon was dead. But Helixon was stubbornly alive. Altrock had gotten Helixon out of a pit before, and they were going to get out of this one. Binded to the point of severely limited movement or not.

The insecticons lurked nearby. When they saw the both of them start to wake up, they went to get their boss.

Sharpshell crept down into the cell block in alt mode, his creeping talons clicking the ground as he moved. He laughed to himself. This was going to be fun.

Helixon woke up. He actually woke up. He was alive. Wow. On the other side of the cell Altrock existed. Awake already, since there was no way Alt was going to get taken without being unconscious. Helixon managed to get himself sitting upright before declaring, "This, is your fault."

"What do you mean it's my fault? You're the one who went back into that pit!" Altrock glared at him.

"Only because you didn't catch me!"

"You're the one who got shot and then didn't get close enough to the edge!"

"You're the reason there's a big hole in the ground in the first place!" Helixon retorted. Altrock was about to bite back, but he held his tongue once he saw an insecticon approaching. Helixon sat there smugly; the last word had been his.

"You two are a chatty pair." Sharpshell hissed, stepping into the cell. He still held a long spearlike weapon that buzzed with electricity on one end. He stalked around them, sizing him up. "You both were fools to take on the hive alone..."

"Oh, we weren't alone. Just that guy's the self-sacrificial idiot and I'm an involved casualty." Helixon replied.

"But really, if we knew there was a hive under our feet we would have made sure to saturate the ground in the oil and energon of our enemies before lobbing an explosive." Altrock glared at Helixon for a moment.

"Well you two were clearly too stupid to notice...and you destroyed our home." He walked over and held the end of the spear almost touching Helixon's face. "You'll have to pay for that in your own spilled energon..."

Helixon went cross-eyed looking at the speartip. "If you haven't noticed you've already spilled my energon. So let's call it even and let us go blow up other bots, yeah?"

"Can't you insecticons like, rebuild that hole? Or dig a little deeper? Like how do you make your hive homes in the first place?" Altrock asked from the other side.

"I'll get to you later." He snarled at Altrock. "These measly little scratches? What I have planned for you is far worse. Megatron himself will hear about it. I plan on pulling every single last bit of information from you two before delivering you to him myself."

"I think he'd be more mad at you for the fact you tortured us for information without informing him of it. I don't think he trained his lackeys to act without his orders." Helixon replied.

Altrock felt a little disgruntled about being neglected. "Okay, what if I said I'm the one who lobbed that explosive and damaged a really big part of your hive home?"

I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!
— Charles Perrault
