The Cat Cafe

Welcome to the "Catfe" a home for a group of cats waiting to be adopted. In the cat cafe, humans come every day to play with the cats. In this roleplay, you can enter as a cat or a human, or you can have multiple characters! Submit your characters and jump right in!

The cats can talk to each other, but humans cannot understand them. Humans can talk to each other, but cats cannot understand them.

Please put (cat) or (human) beside your characters name in your post!

- Tuxedo (cat) -

Tux sat by the window, watching the sunrise. He always liked to be up early. Pretty soon, the cat cafe employees would arrive and feed the cats. Then the other humans would arrive.

He stretched out on his favorite blue mat. It looked like the rest of his friends were still asleep.

"I can't wait for the day," he thought.

Sterling watched the door of the shop with wide eyes, her tail flicking back and forth. She was hungry and a little confused as to why no one was here all the time. She used to be at a home where there was always someone there.

- Cat Puccino (Cat) -

Cino awoke slowly purring softly as she looked around to see who else was here. She was hungry and she hoped food was here by now.

Sterling looked at the now awake friends. "When is food come?" She stretched, her tail sticking straight up.

- Cat Puccino (Cat) -

Cino stretched. "I no see. You know?"

- Pusheen (Cat) -

Pusheen was curled in a comfy ball on the carpet, happily snoozing when she blinked her eyes open to see the mesmerizing, bright light of the sun.

But she abruptly awoke when she heard someone meow "food".

"FOOD?! Where is food??"

- Catastrophe (cat) -

Cat walked around the place, looking for someone he could chat with. (aka talk until their ears fall off)

- Garfield (cat) -

Garfield was on the counter making himself a cup of coffee.

Lulu stretched both of her white paws skyward, her limp body and all its fluff filling up the top shelf of the cat tower like she had turned into liquid.

"Mmmmmmm..." She flopped back onto her side and shut her eyes. "Five more minutesss..."




Eggsy lay at the bottom of the cat tower, gripping a stuffed mouse as he whined with his squeaky meow.

"Can't someone play with me?! You're no fuuuun!"

- Cat Puccino (Cat) -

Cino yawned and got up. "I play with anyone who give food!"

Ahhhh, another day has started! Mikayla got out of her car and made her way through the mall. There were no people here yet, because the mall didn't open for another 90 minutes. She walked up the stairs to the second floor and pulled out her keys.

It was time to unlock the cat cafe.

She was holding a small cardboard box. Today was a very special day! "Don't be scared, Zuzu," she said, feeling the small kitten stir in the box. It was eleven week old Zuzu's very first day at the cat cafe!

Mikayla walked through the front doors into the waiting room area. This was where the front desk was and where humans purchased food and admission. There was a large fish tank too! Mikayla turned on the lights, in preparation for the other employee who would be there in 30 minutes.

"Time for you to meet your friends, Zuzu! And to give you all some food!"

Mikayla entered the cat room.

- Cat Puccino (Cat) -

Cino perked up at the smell of a familiar human coming. She purred loudly and immediately sat up.

- Tuxedo (cat) -

Tux saw the reflection of Mikayla in the window. Since he is 19 years old, he has already lost all of his hearing so he is deaf, but he still has great vision!

"Oooh, friends wake up!!" he said, "She is here!! It is breakfast time!"

He began to walk towards the food bowls. Hmm but what is Mikayla holding? A new box??

- Cat Puccino (Cat) -

Cino grinned and walked over. "Food! Food! Food!" Cino paused. "New smell."

Zuzu popped her head out of the box, her eyes wide. She had never seen so many cats before! And they call looked different! She purred before hopping to the floor.
