I'm gonna keep all my various characters from my various roleplays for archival purposes and in case I want to re-use characters (because my memory is bad and I'll forget them if not)

Name: Malachite "Chite" Sterling
Age: 19
Pronouns & Sexual Orientation: He/him & Gay

Appearance: Chite is tall, a nudge over six feet, and well toned. He has trained for this his entire life, of course, so obviously he should be fit enough to become a Darksbane. He isn't body-builder fit. No, no, the muscles are lean and practical. Chite is the spitting image of a Sterling with his pale skin and silver, wavy hair, with only a small streak of dark green that splits through above his right eye. His right eyebrow has a split in it, where the keen eyed can spot the faint scar there, and the even keener eye can make the connection of a line from the eyebrow to the green stripe. However, most people are too distracted by his striking green eyes to pay attention to those imperfections.

Chite's face is gaunt, like he doesn't get enough food or sleep. He has small pockets of eyebags under his eyes that might hint towards that, and high cheekbones with no cheeks to accompany them gives his face a stark look. He has a tight jawline and a light cleft chin, with no stubble or beard, which is common in his family.

Chite wears formal clothing. You won't see him out of slacks and vests unless he's in silken pajamas or swimwear. He wears mostly versions of grays and silver with only a tidbit of color, usually maroon.
Thematic: Pristine, like a diamond. Brilliant, silver, overpowering, and perfection.
Aura Color: Silver, constantly morphing different shapes and angles, like diamonds constantly morphing around each other. Flecks of green swirls around when emotional.

Fighting Style: Chite is aggressive as a fighter but does not fight directly hand-to-hand
Armor: Medium style armor that focuses on protecting his vital organs while leaving his mobility high.
Magic Attunement: Shock, has dabbled in Burn and Frost
Weapon Preference: Bo-staff or a spear

Personality: Chite is full of himself. Okay, to explain a bit more, he is rightly full of himself because he's important, a perfectionist, and has always been put on a pedestal. He's quite likable but is also somewhat fake. He's a natural extrovert and quite chatty. He kind of always assumes (rightly so from experience) that he knows more than others and knows that he's right. He's the type of person you're either going to like or hate on first impression, and not much will change that. He does have the kind of allure that makes you gravitate towards him, in a positive or negative sense. He commands the presence of a room and always has from an early age.
Personal Strengths: Chite is smooth talking and knows how to talk his way out of almost all situations. He is clearly a confident person and it shows in how he carries himself and how he speaks. This also extends to his battle, because he fights in a way where he acts like he knows he's already going to win. He is quite strategic and seems to be a few steps ahead of his opponent.
Personal Weaknesses: Chite is a person that certain people will always hate, and poor him, he just cannot understand why. It's his bravado, of course, but he's had everything handed to him for awhile, so any type of controversy that he can't speak his way out of quickly, he kinda short circuits. He needs to be wanted and needs to be needed. If he is shown that he's not useful just by existing... he doesn't know what to do. Battle-wise, Chite is classically trained and has spent much of his adolescence fighting other Darksbane who are also classically trained. He is confident but can actually be outplayed by those with more extreme

Backstory: Chite is born to the Sterlings, a wealthy and powerfully connected family in Whyndsor with both hands in the military and the council of the nation. He is the youngest of his three siblings with no real connection/influence on the diplomatic side of things, as his older sisters both were raised to go into those fields. So, Chite, with his natural charisma and smooth talking, decided instead to become a Darksbane. He trained first privately before acing his way through Stenick Academy at a young age and then moving to Feren Academy. It was quite a controvery that he decided to go to Lux Academy instead of Zenith Academy, but he believed it would be far more beneficial for his family to spread their influence north. Lux Academy is the most popular of the Darksbane Academies. By the time Chite finished training at Feren Academy (in which he mostly had private tutors in Glinthaven train him instead of the usual curriculum), he was of age to apply for Lux Academy, and so he did. This is not just Chite trying to become a Darksbane (which he knows he will, and be one of the best) but also introduce the Sterling name to those in the north. After all, his family is not just a family, but a brand. And he has his own ways to keep that brand name flourishing.
Connections to Lux Academy: The Sterlings are large donors to all of the Academies, and Lux is no exception. His grandparents are old friends of the Headmistress as well, and Chite will quickly buddy up with all professors of course.
Personal Goal: Chite wants to make a name for himself that also separates himself from his sisters. Being a prominent Darksbane is the number one option, of course.
Personal Secret: Chite is not out to his family, and had a secret relationship with a commoner when he was a new teenager in Wheren, which is doubly frowned upon. Chite ultimately chose to go to Glinthaven to get as far away as possible from his chilldhood fling.
Personal Fear: Chite has a huge fear of failure and failing to live up to his own and his family's expectations of him. Usually the Sterlings only have two children, one to continue the family business and one to go through Zenith Academy and head the military of Whyndsor. Chite was an unexpected third child, so much of his legacy is uncharted territory.
Other: Chite has a pet snake that he got when he first came to Glinthaven. It is a ball python named Steel.

Notes: he was at home for break between feren and lux, and it felt more like a horrible prison sentence than actually being at home. it was isolating and like he was visint some kind of stillness, like only something you would find in a painting. themes of frozen, chillness, cold in attitude and weather, from his family, his home, and Whyndsor in general.

Chite might have some friends from Feren who are in this class of initiates, and possibly some characters.

Notes for Chite: he is deeply insecure of himself. Growing up, he was never good enough for his father, and although his mother was kind to him when he was younger, she grew distant and cold and kind of lost her mind when he was a preteen. He had to prove himself over and over again, and it was never enough. He presents as a know-it-all with bravado because he spent so long never being told anything. No one acknowledged him or cared for him, so he made a point to teach himself so he never had to rely on anyone again. Now, he's more than fine with using someone -- that's not relying on them. He could easily drop them whenever he wants or needs to.

He is the black sheep of the family, and so he took advantage of that and became a fly on the wall. His sisters are much older than him. His oldest was 12 when he was born and middle was 10. In reality, they, with the help of the help, raised him. But they also despised him, especially Beryl, the middle. She saw him as a waste of her time. Granite had a softer side for him, but he definitely felt like an annoyance to her. They felt like he got away with everything and anything while they had super high expectations put on them, but in reality his father had no expectations of him, for he was always a disappointment.

Also, his mother isn't crazy. No, she's just deeply depressed and hopeless. After a particular rebellious moment Chite, his father told his mother that he was dead to him, and nothing Chite would ever do would be enough for the family. Chite doesn't know this (yet) and just assumed she abandoned him like everyone else did.

The Sterling corporation sells Inscribed jewelry and decor for rich families, to protect... for a cost. They also sell technology and are technology giants within Whyndsor, under the brand SerCo. Granite leads SterCo while their father runs Sterling and a seat within the country council. Beryl is an admiral within the Whyndsor military and heads international relations. The Sterling family is old and deeply influential. For them, reputation is everything. They do not bother themselves with such boring things as the Voidborn. No, they deal with far more insidious things: human things.

Chite feels like he looks down to everyone else, and in a sense he does. It's more like he puts so much more pressure on himself and expects more from himself than anyone else around him.

Chite going to Lux Academy instead of Zenith Academy is putting a huge dent in the Sterling's whole operation. They're afraid of the controversy that it may bring the Sterling name, so right as Chite enters Initiation, they launch a new line of products called Stile: a new affordable luxury line of home goods that blend safety and style. They make the announcement during Initiation -- Chite won't know until he's out of it. They also launch a new line of home security and technology under SerCo, in collaboration with Stile. It's uber popular, and hoping to detract any negative attention brought on by Chite's transgressions.

Guardian's Name: Sasha-5

Guardian's Gender: Female

Race: Exo

Guardian's Class: Warlock
Guardian's Subclass: Void

Guardian's Starting Melee Weapon: Vibro-blade, found by her resting place when she was revived.

Guardian's Appearance: Sasha-5 has a black exo frame with bright pink eyes and mouth and a dark warm highlights on her face. She has two spikes, one on each side of her head that sprout up like atteanas.

Guardian's Personality: Sasha-5 is, first and foremost, a curious individual. She wants to know why things work, how things work, and wants information. She asks questions when she does not know, and believes knowledge is the key to getting anything solved. She's a bit of a hot-head, and does not like when people say she is wrong when she knows she's not. She calls people out when she believes there's an injustice happening, and she always has an opinion on things.

On the flipside, Sasha-5 is not without humor in her life. Although she gets super serious when the prospect of knowledge or what she believes an injustice is involved, she is also a pretty light-hearted individual. She is sassy, sarcastic, and believes that creating bonds is essential to survival. She has fractures of memories of her life before being an Exo, and sometimes she'll get lost in thought, in recollection, when joking around.

Ghost's Name: Mortag
Ghost's Gender: Male
Ghost's Appearance: Mortag's outershell is one of a thick triangular shape. Two of the angles are at the top and one at the bottom. Mortag's shell is thick black with deep pink diagonal stripes streaking through it.
Ghost's Personality: Mortag is a trickster by nature, and loves to play games. He is not a serious Ghost at all, and will not take even the most dire of situations seriously. When pushed, he will do what is needed, but not without complaining. He gets distracted a lot, too, and can often be found humming a song that not even the oldest Guardians know.
