Stay Safe The Princess of Darkness
Hello! You? Yes you reading this. Have a nice day because you're wonderful and you deserve it!
Super solid posts starting up, guys :^) I agree with KateHardy, Ilidian's inner monologue is entertaining. Love the sass, lol. I also like the way Percy tricks the pirates haha
I'm excited to see all of these characters together and see what their dynamics are as they clamor to escape!
Also, I had an idea: @KocoCoko, I was thinking that my First Mate Character Percy could be a traitor (he has an old vendetta against the Captain), who puts on a mask of innocence and helpfulness and gets most of the crew to like him. So, perhaps since Candy is having trouble remembering the ship’s name, Percy could come over and help her? Since he’s trying to gain the trust of the crew. What do you think?
Whatever people say there is Good and there is Bad, and there is nothing in between.
Popping in to say you all are doing amazing so far! I love the descriptions, the worldbuilding, and of course: the characters! Also, from Koco's post, I giggled when I read the mention of 'royal icing' xD
Good luck sailors!

I sketched the map Omni made, and added some stuff... here's the legend, feel free to suggest changes or additions.
1. Hakrow Passage: A notoriously treacherous passage that causes many ships to founder on the rocky shores to either side, or the small isle in the centre.
2. Bootleg Island: Isn’t particularly more, or less prone to bootlegging than any of the other islands in The Cragged Teeth, but it looks like a boot so…
3. Rinmout Island: Home to Fort Mantyrn, and the town of Arcuro, capital of Sicerion, and one of the few places where the government holds authority.
4. The Island, and Kingdom of Eark: A land of local rulers, fueds, and wilderness. It’s known among pirates, as home to the safest ports, and best taverns for an outlaw to lay low in for a while.
5. Blood Rock: A revered outcropping of cliff, with a commanding view of the sea for leagues around, atop of which is the home of Pirate Lord Circes.
6. Willer’s Bay: Lined with port in it’s many protected harbours, Willer’s Bay is a hive of commercial shipping.
7. Kaern River: A large waterway, that has carved a path through the mountains, providing a way to the City of Car-Tantalon
8. The Rusting mountains: Rich in iron ore, the peaks form a border between the two kingdoms of ___ in the north, and ___ in the south. In the centre, is built the City of Car-Tantalon, home of many great inventors, and the temple of the Pearl of the mountain.
9. Lake ___
10. Falnar, capitol city of __
11. Bergston, home of Pirate Lord Cassian Davenport of the North
Pandora’s Pearls: A group of frozen, jagged isles, impenetrable and deadly to the inexperienced sailor, that Saratoga often uses as an escape, and hideaway when in the north.
South Sea Islands: An archipelago in the south, loosely governed by the kingdom of Sicerion.

Oh! Also, I forgot to say in the above post, but I was thinking the city in the mountains would be the most steampunky place. And the two countries on either side of the mountains would be the largest and most powerful, while the others would be minor, with much less authority and bureacracy and stuff.

Oh, that would make sense!! That could city could also be the place where the flying ships dock and land. It'd be much easier for them to alright be up high then have to gain height, ya know?
Okay, thoughts on next weeks posts. If I (myth) post first again for week 2, I could have all the characters boarding the ship just as Saratoga arrives (including William, Lady and I might collab on a part with him joining the crew), and then we would be on the ship and off the island for the rest of the posts. Or I could do the last post like that, and we'd have anotehr week of the characters getting to the ship. Thoughts?
Also, I put my map legend in the wfp if anyone wants to add to or suggest changes to it.

i had a funny thought and i wonder if it would be cool if i could do the last post for next week? depending on how much we write but i think it would be fun to have us like rushing around to get the ship unmoored and then at the end of ilidans post, after the chaos has settled, hes like "so who did it"
