"You are right about that not making sense. There is more to all of this than we know, I believe." He was more open and respectful with Thalassa than he was with Tarkin. It was like he was genuinely interested in the fate of their son.

They could have been trying to trap a Sith. No doubt the spiritual beings hated the abomination that Vader and his his dogs were more than the Empire. But that didn't feel exactly right.

"Do you have any theories about what might have happened?" Thalassa asked. "Has Wilhuff told you all you need to know on his end?"

"Of course I have."

"Not a specific theory, but the pieces are coming closer together." He had a few more questions for Tarkin but those could wait. "I believe that is all for now, unless there is any other information we haven't discussed." Anything she may not be telling him

"I would talk to people who worked on his ship with him," Thalassa said. "And get back to the moon as quickly as possible." She paused, looking toward Tarkin. "You told him about the priestess, right?"

"I did."

"Do we have any more information on her other than she supposedly killed herself, some of her people, and your son by bringing the cathedral down on them?" He did wonder if that had not been the case but stuck with the story for now.

Husband and wife were quiet for a moment, then Thalassa said, "Wilhuff told me she was pregnant."

"It could explain why she brought the cathedral down," Tarkin said. "Self defense, perhaps not intending to martyr herself but to protect her child in a last ditch effort to keep Garoche and Vader at bay.

"Potentially." Where she was standing didn't support that theory. He pictured the ruins in his mind. He would have to test that theory when they returned and further examine the architecture "Anything else?"

"None that I can think of," Thalassa said. "Should I head over there in case you have further questions or..?"

"Stay on Phelarion," Tarkin replied firmly. "If I'm going to Atoa and you suddenly drop everything, people are going to talk. Stay home."

Thalassa dipped her head. "Fine. But I'm going to keep my schedule clear. I want to be present when possible."

Do you have any rebellion characters or is tarkin your main focus? I've recently pulled a few of my old characters from the grave (including the one who was my online namesake) who are 'good guys' lol.

This is to include a mandalorian character(s) I made well before it was cool, even before rebels came out. I mean they were always cool but there was very little cannon lore at the time

"Thank you for your assistance Lady Tarkin." Sirejj dipped his head again. "We will keep you well informed."

Tarkin tends to be my main focus but I've got a character from a roleplay with my sister who's a Phindian, like the assassin, plus a few high-ranking oc's. Feel free to include a mando! I can bring someone in.

"I appreciate that." Thalassa nodded to him. "Thank you for your help, Sirejj. I know it's not your first desire to work for us, but I appreciate it nonetheless."

'Of course." He glanced down at Tarkin. "My questions are through for the time being. Do you wish I leave you two to speak?" His tone remained the same but his eyes were sharp, his politeness towards Tarkin was insincere at best.

Thalassa noticed the shallowness and smiled ever so slightly. "No, I think we'll talk later. Wilhuff?"

"Agreed." Tarkin leaned forward. "Take care, Thalassa. I'll keep you informed." He hung up and turned to Sirejj. "Was that informative as you'd hoped?"

"It will do for now. I do have questions for you though. Two in particular." He turned to face him. "Firstly, do you still have anything of your son's that was valuable to him? Something he may have had a sentimental attachment to?"

"More than likely." He'd have to check Garoche's room. Most of his things were packed up or dispersed, but some of them were still there. "You suppose you can use something like that? Clothing or a trinket, perhaps?" Sirejj sounded like he planned on tracking him.

"Something like that. A trinket or keepsake." Tracking a spirit was much like tracking a physical being, with a few more details added on. "It may be helpful to me to follow his steps when we return to Atoa. Or anywhere else he's been." He stepped towards the door. "Secondly, what is this Carrion you speak of? A trial? It seems to have been a pivotal point in the lives of both you and your son."
