the interactions between these two needs a book or comic or something. It would be fantastic.

Sirejj was better able to get to sleep. He had experienced many sleepless nights alone in the swamps of Dathomir, where he would have perished if not able to gain control of his mind. He slept with his staff nearby. The spells of destruction woven into it were oddly comforting, most likely due to their familiarity.

He had evaded the Dark Side for this long. The coming days would be no different.

Holy cow really though.
Any chance you have drawing skills?

Sleepless nights were no stranger to Tarkin. He implemented his usual solution and slipped out the window, climbing from the balcony down to the ground in loose fatigues so he could do a little nighttime hunting outside the city limits. Leaving his speeder where he knew he could find it again, he spent the remainder of the night stalking small nocturnal creatures.

By the time dawn cracked the horizon, he returned with a number of kills slung across his shoulders. Settling himself on the patio outside with blood still on his hands, he started skinning and dressing them.

no. My sister on the other hand yes. She can draw a cover of literally any character. But she pretty much has to have an exact reference. In fact I've kind of been bugging her to try to draw the scene where tarkin is holding Sirejj's staff and admiring it but we were not able to find a good enough reference for her to copy it from. If she had a reference I could maybe convince her. She has taken to drawing more anime style people but has done pretty good realistic pics too.

We need to recruit someone.

Sirejj awoke with the sun. He washed, pulled his clothes and boots on, and went to see if Tarkin was awake. He was eager to question Thalassa after finding some more food and drink to start off the day. He exited his room and knocked on Tarkin's door, expecting him to be up by now.

Does she need a Tarkin ref or a staff ref?

There was no answer, but Gideon was just coming out of one of the rooms nearby. Now that he was standing, a brace on his left leg was visible. "Ah, Sirejj." He smiled. "Good morning! Wil is probably up already; he keeps late hours and wakes before the sun rises. How did you sleep?"

a tarkin/pose ref. Staff isn't hard. She said it's mostly his face and how he's standing/holding the staff that's hard to do without a reference.

"Well, thank you." He assumed an air of mock politeness. Perhaps this brother would spill some more information. "Quite a difficult person to bodyguard. Are all of you Tarkins so independent?" He smiled. Sirejj stood at ease with his shoulders relaxed, but his staff was still on his back. That never left his sight.

Lemme get to a computer and I'll find some stuff it ya want! I've got a wealth of Peter Cushing and Tarkin references for my own drawings. And I can look for poses on Pinterest.

"Most of us." Gideon started down the hall. "Share a cup of coffee with me? I expect Wil's already beaten us to it."

ill definitely show her anything. I can picture the panels in my head perfectly but that does not translate to paper well. Even just some cool art of them would be awesome

"Gladly." He followed Gideon, deferring to him. If he was like any politician, getting him to talk wouldn't be hard.

Gideon led them downstairs to an extravagant kitchen, where someone had already set coffee brewing. He grabbed two cups and poured coffee into both, stirring cream into his own. "Did Wil really hire you as a bodyguard?" he asked, handing Sirejj the other cup. "You're a bit mouthy for one, if you don't mind my saying."

Sirejj laughed. "You may be discovering the reasons I never made it in the guilds." He took a sip. Gideon wasn't a fool, though he was easier to read than his brother. So long as Sirejj could keep him talking and avoid too many personal questions, he would be well off.

"Hm." Gideon leaned against the counter, taking weight off his braced leg. "Maybe so. Dathomirians aren't common sights these days, though. Not after the culling. How'd you make it out of that mess?"

A prickly question. He shifted his weight as if slightly uncomfortable.
"I was not a member of a tribe when the attack happened. I left the planet soon after. Grievous and his droids targeted the Nightsisters first and then moved to the adjoining clans."

He had spent so much time avoiding rivals and beasts that the separatist droids had been fairly easy. Their sheer numbers has been their only advantage. That and the four-armed saber wielding freak who led them.

"Fascinating." Gideon raised an eyebrow. "So you do still organize in tribes...did you fight in the wars at all?"

Tarkin finished dressing the carcasses and headed to the kitchen to drop them off, wiping the remaining blood on his pants.

"The nightbrothers had little involvement in the clone wars. A few who were sent or taken away from their homes is all. We were largely separate from the conflict till two or three of us decided to meddle in the wrong business." He frowned. The desire for revenge on Count Dooku was arguably what drew his ire to Dathomir in the first place. He would have known better than to cross a Sith

"That's unfortunate. I hear you were formidable fighters. Well, you must be if my brother is trusting you to guard him." Gideon looked up as Tarkin entered. "Ah, you've been busy."

"For dinner tonight," Tarkin said in response, holding up the carcasses. "Good morning, gentlemen."

Sirejj nodded, still trying to decide if the coffee was worth finishing. He wasn't sure if he liked it. The carcasses on the other hand looked tempting.
"Governor."
