Cawww! *Ahem* 'Tis I, your friendly Dungeon Master, here to announce the first Roleplay Weekend! It'll run from September 2-3, and we have some fun activities lined up for you all! (And of course, there's an opportunity to earn some
September 2: Kick off RP weekend with #ocforaday! Use this hashtag and roleplay as one of your original characters for a day. You/your character can marvel at the wonders of this glowy screen, or interact with other ywsers, or just be their wacky selves! Please do censor your naughtier characters, though, and keep the general site family-friendly.
September 3: Use the hashtag #RPShoutout to shout out cool roleplays! These can be roleplays you're in, or some neat ones you've seen around YWS. You can even shout out fellow roleplayers or characters!
And if you make any roleplay posts between September 2-3, you can claim points in this thread! You can cash in at max two posts per category (meaning 8 posts total). Please link to your post when you're claiming your points.
Points per post:
Storybook: 75 points
Realm: 50 points
Hollow: 25 points
Duo: 25 points if <500 words, 75 points if >=500 words
Finally, we have some shiny badges for you all! You can earn the Participant badge for cashing in at least one post, and you can earn the All-Rounder badge for cashing in at least one post in each category.
