so she's a pharmacy manager and is super smart and cool and she's also an artist and makes a lot of stickers and prints and sells them at comic cons. She's going to give me an ADORABLE alien sticker she drew on our next date, which is scheduled for Sunday : )))) )

"You don't know Monty Python?!" Sadie asked incredulously, animated in an instant.

“Oh, man, you’re missing out,” Sadie said. “It’s incredible. His work is so funny. It’s amazing!”

"Yeah? What sort of stuff does he do? He's a comedian?"

“Uh, no, not really… well… I guess, kinda? But not really. Not like stand up. More like… skits? It’s hard to explain. Like Monty Python and the Holy Grail is our favorite of his work. It’s just absurdity from start to end but hilarious. And very quotable.”

"How fun! I used to love doing skits for my English class," Mary said. "Maybe I'll give it a try."

“You should!” Sadie said eagerly. “We’ve got a tape you can borrow if you like. We also donated one to the library. Everyone should see it at least once.”

"I probably shouldn't borrow," she mused. "I live pretty far away. I'll just see if my own library has a copy."

“Fair enough.” Sadie nodded. “If not, give us a call and we’ll send them one, too. Everyone should—“

Meyer started laughing, shaking his head slightly. “I swear you’ve got aspirations for funding every library in the country.”

Sadie hesitated then smiled sheepishly, putting her hand up to dramatically mime a whisper as she loudly whispered “we’ll send it.”

Mary chuckled and nodded. "You're very kind."

Sadie grinned and went back to her meal. “Oh, um…” she hesitated, swallowing. “You may want to not have kids around when you watch it, b-t-dubs. People have different philosophies on what kids should be watching. Just fair warning not all people agree with this choice.”

"Don't have to worry about that," Mary replied. "No kids around to watch it."

“Ah, that’s right! It’s you, with the—?” Sadie nodded towards Martin.

"Yup." He nodded. "Three of 'em. I'll keep that in mind if I try it."

"Yeah. Probably best not to..." She glanced at Nicholas sheepishly. "You may not enjoy it either... not sure."
