However, the meter in your poem is slightly unbalanced, so try working on that.

As hunterzero pointed out, your meter is off, which is one of the most important things in limericks, if not the most important.

Hehehe, limericks aren't really supposed to mean anything, but they're sure fun to say! :D

I think the poem has one or two more syllables than it should per line. Better check Cassandra's link and see if you can't clean it up that way. ^_^;;

Yes it seemed a little unflowing for a limerick. A limerick should flow perfectly and add to the humour.

I didn't like the concept of it at all because it was too far fetched even for a limerick.

I thought it was pretty cute! However there are a few too many syllables in the first part. For instance, generally lymericks have the beat:
la la-la la la-la la la-la. You can't quite make yours flow to that.
Also the middle bits a bit off. But its a good idea!!

^ I think that is how a limerick should flow.
