Jerica went silent for once in her life, not at all sure how to respond. That… sounded bad. Especially now that she knew the truth about her family. Was this god planning to take her away from the fraction of her family she knew about? Keep her away from her birth family? Curse her to an eternity of slavery to him? This seemed like a bad idea.

(So they're Bantam eggs so a bit smaller. The owners said they taste amazing and I'm not usually the sort to enjoy eggs but I figured I'd try I made them sunny side up and my first bite was so bad I almost threw it all away But I made some toast and made myself eat them as a sandwich cuz I didn't want to waste the eggs. Even then it was nearly unbearable. Like it ain't the eggs' fault. I just hate the taste and texture of eggs in general)
