"Oh, um... none of those are brass, actually," Rek said with a friendly smile, hoping it didn't embarrass him to be corrected, and moving on quickly in case it did. "But as far as strings go, I do think lutes continue to be my favorite to play and where I would recommend a beginner start, though I am also quite fond of the violin. I also enjoy the lyre. As far as percussion goes, tambourines are pretty beginner-friendly. Well, most drums are, if you've got an ear for rhythm."
