It's like I'm sitting in one of those astronaut cockpits but at an angle and it's bizarre but oddly comforting. I'm trying to see how long it will last. I'm hanging down but not falling. Weird shit)

"Ah, thank you." He dipped his head. "That was a pet of one of my ancestors."

(Oof that sounds dizzying)

“Really?” Akeno’s eyebrows shot up. “In this climate?”

(It passed but oofta)

"It was kept in a bedroom with a stoked-up fire," he replied. "But it was certainly not meant for this weather."

Akeno nodded. “I bet… Je-Lieutenant Ainsley had a pet iguana for a bit, or so I hear. I bet she’d like to see the skeleton if she hasn’t yet.”

"We discussed it, actually," Gaius replied. "The snake and the iguana. I hadn't heard of such a creature before."

“Oh… they’re pretty neat.” He nodded. “Bad tempered, though. She only had it about a week and a half or so before she had to get rid of it.”

"So I'm told."

"Yes sir." Akeno nodded again.

"Have you spoken to Jerica recently?" Gaius asked.

"No sir." Akeno shook his head, hesitating. "I... was actually looking for her. Do you happen to know where she is?"

"I believe she's speaking with her uncle in a parlor somewhere," he replied.

Akeno nodded. "...Do you know which parlor?"

"I'm afraid not; I've only just sat down. I was running an errand."

"Yes sir, of course." Akeno nodded quickly. "Thank you anyway -- that gives me a place to start looking."

He dipped his head. "Certainly. Best of luck to you, then."
