There were none on the counters. Tomhas wandered into the pantry itself, looked around, then hoisted himself up on the shelves toward a tin on the top shelf.

Ky plucked out some tea she'd seen Tomhas drink before and got some leaves for herself and wandered over to the stove to put some water on to boil.

He reached for the tin and got it into his arm, then slowly descended the shelves.

(Meh. I have almost no food I can eat at my house because I've been being terrorized by the cockroaches. Like I have like ramen but absolutely not lol honestly the thought of any food now is sort of turning my stomach but I'm contemplating maybe just getting veggies from Texas Roadhouse to see if they let me get the rolls that way lol idk. I already ate once today so it's not critical I eat again but this is pretty annoying)
Ky grabbed two mugs from the shelf, then turned back just in time to see him. She smiled a little. "Looks like you've done that before."

"Nice." She put the tea in the mugs, glancing at the kettle to be sure it was in the fire full enough. Hopefully those would be easy on her stomach. She had to eat. She'd gotten herself into this mess by offering food; not she had to follow through. Tomhas wouldn't believe Gaius that she was eating if she refused food before his eyes.

"Sure thing." She smiled back at him, glad she'd made the right choice. She leaned back against the counter nearest her, still dawdling by the fire.

Tomhas set the tin on the ground beside him, gazing into the fire in silence.

Ky piled the coals around the kettle to speed along the process then poured the cups the instant the water was hot enough. She sank down next to him, brushing her shoulder against his as she did so.
