(Aye I dig him! And yeah, that works ^^ I don't have much in mind for the kids but I'm down if you have an idea. Otherwise, maybe once they get there? Maybe Ky could go find Myna?)

(Sure, let's get Ky looking for Myna. Gaius is gonna be doing the exact same thing)

Ky was distant -- at least emotionally, if not physically -- the entire ride. She was exhausted. And she didn't want to deal with questions. Not until she had her own answered. The instant they got to town she split off and went in search of Myna.

Gaius limped after her almost immediately but hung back. Bay had come along too and stood at his side; people were staring at both of them, and not all of them were friendly.

Ky didn't notice -- the fact that Gaius was following, or that he was being gawked at-- intent on her mission to look for Myna.

"Where's my son been shipped off to?" one woman demanded. "Who're we fighting now?"
Gaius moved fast, glancing at Bay, who had his hand on his sword.

More people were beginning to crowd Gaius.

Myna looked up as Ky approached. "Hello again, cloudy one. What can I do for you?"

"Hi," she smiled a little, not sure she appreciated her nickname. "...they're getting bolder... he came in my room last night."

"The spirits?" She frowned. "That's awful rude of them, your room's your room."

Ky nodded in agreement. "I... don't know how he figured it out, but he knew I had a rune. He dug through all my stuff looking for it and I pretended to be asleep but he accidentally saw I was awake and started yelling at me and telling me to give it to him... I didn't, obviously. But..." She sighed. "It... wasn't good."

She nodded in agreement. "I guess so, too. That rune is your best protection, lass. Ain't nought going to mess with it, I promise you that."
