Ky switched sides to keep Tomhas between herself and the old woman, looking up at the sign. She nodded and followed close behind, happy that he seemed eager to show her.

Myna's dark eyes followed Ky as she walked, and Tomhas glanced at her, brow furrowed. "The Thurlessons have been here as long as the Ashes have," he said to Ky, picking up the pace. "They're the best woodworkers in the entire Realm--maybe the entire continent."
