Ky shrugged too. Not her business, then.

(Hmm I don’t have anything in particular in mind for them yet until we get to Derik meeting with the brothers. Unless you have something in mind? Like I’d be down I just don’t have ideas)

(With an escort. I don't think Gaius is going to notify anyone that she can't go places. He figures she'll be hidden away once Ky gets back.)

(Nice cool then I’m down. If it occurs to her that she’s allowed out then she’d absolutely roam)

(Uhhh I’ll give a very vague post and let you decide where they’re at haha)

Okay. Fine. Apparently she wasn’t allowed in the men’s dormitory, but they let her wander. Which felt like it didn’t make sense. But she’d paced enough hundreds of laps through the women’s dormitory that they suggested she take a walk. She was probably irritating them. But that was okay — it led to her freedom. Relative freedom. She had a babysitter, but at least she had an outlet for her anxious energy.

(Okie dokie)

Jerica's escort was a quiet young woman in her early twenties with a tense posture and watchful eyes. They'd ended up in the library, surrounded by the books and scrolls the Ashes had collected over the years.

Jerica wasn’t even pretending like she was actually going to read anything. It was an impressive room, to be sure. She spent a long time admiring the snake skeleton. And now she was wandering around the shelves aimlessly brushing her fingertips across the spines of the books.

The woman hung back but kept an eye on her. A few Librarians studied Jerica as they passed.

Jerica glanced around at them, but didn’t talk. She wasn’t supposed to. And they didn’t like her, anyway. Not if they knew who she was. Which they probably did. And that was just fine with her. Let them hate her. It meant she didn’t have to deal with them.
