Aashi and Tadaaki had no idea if they were okay with it. It very much felt like preying upon his kindness. But also it wasn’t as though he couldn’t afford it with no difficulty; plus he’d offered. But then there was also the concern about how far away it all was. Not to mention they didn’t know how nobility worked for certain. Who’s to say whether there’d be some kind of catch and then Tasia would be bound to work for him if she accepted the formal education.
Tomhas didn’t seem like the type to do that. And even if he was, he’d be a good employer. But. Still. Nothing in life came free, which they knew all too well.

Tomhas dipped his head; that was smart. There were reading classes in the schools, but strictly speaking it was probably best for Tasia to get a handle on that.
